After weeks of staying quiet, Sheree Whitfield has finally taken to her Bravo blog to confront some of the Real Housewives of Atlanta drama; and she has many good things to say about her co-stars until she gets to NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey! Sheree also takes the time to clear up any rumors about the construction of Chateau Sheree which everybody knows isn’t really happening!
Sheree starts out by defending herself against accusations that her luxury dream house is a ruse created by the Bravomeisters for stroyline purposes. Unfortunately for Sheree, Atlanta blogger Tamara Tattles has been hot on her tail and revealing the truth about what goes on at the faux-chateau. After the blog revealed Andrew, the builder who’s been featured on the show, isn’t even a licensed contractor, Sheree is claiming she never intended for him to build her ballroom/skating rink anyways!
“The home building process requires a huge amount patience, planning, meetings, and self-control. People warned me that building a new home would be not only a huge headache but a slow detailed process, because contractors like to move at their own pace,” Sheree writes.
“To clear things up, Andrew is not my builder. He is someone that did some work for me in my clothing boutique years ago. We ran into each other when I began this project. I hired him to oversee the day to day progress when I am out of reach. Another story that I will go into later!” Uh huh… suuuure.
Now onto the dirt concerning NeNe, Sheree is not backing down and refers to NeNe as “delirious!” That’s a bit rich considering the source, but you know not exactly untrue.
“NeNe made a statement that I hit below the belt. This woman is delirious. Remember, I have known her untruths, her misleading behavior, and evil ways for quite a long time and have kept them quiet. I personally would have never gone there had she not started in with me,” Sheree insists.
“I do agree that once you go there, you open up a whole new can of worms. I don’t think she want those worms let out. I didn’t start it, I only finished. The hateful, mean-spirited way she reacted took it way past any possibility of reconciliation in the future.” Oooohhh… is that a promise or a threat from the former Mrs. Whitfield?
In response to Cynthia’s comments about her financial issues, (if you remember Cynthia wrote that the only thing she knows about Sheree is that she lost a house, a car, and a man), Sheree thinks Cynthia needs a little bit of educating!
“I have never, ever lost a house, nor was I repeatedly evicted from several houses (that was your girl),” Sheree seethes! “I did have a car that was paid in full seized which probably cost the amount of your home. Please don’t get that confused with a repossession (again that was your girl).” Sheree is obviously less embarrassed that her car was seized after she failed to pay her lawyer fees following a failed attempt to alter her divorce agreement so she could get a larger settlement.
“However, luckily for me,” Sheree continues, “I had another car I could fall back on. Don’t you and Peter share a car? I would hate to have to drop someone off or wait for someone to be done to move forward with their day. I love my independence and my freedom to move about, thank God for my other car.”
As for Cynthia’s comments that she “lost a man” Sheree is not taking that lightly and wants us to know the man actually lost her! “Honey, you are too old to speak on things you have no clue about or were not even around at the time to know the truth about. Stop listening to the haters,” Sheree slams!
“Now fortunately for me, I know my self-worth! I know what I deserve and what I will and will not put up with. And because of this, I left a man! Let’s get it straight. I decided to seek a divorce because I refuse to be in an unhealthy relationship. I believe in myself, my kids, and our happiness, and we deserved much better. Besides, being in an unhealthy relationship can lead to really dark eye circles, large bags, balding, and not to mention extreme low self-esteem. Honey, I don’t have time for any of that!”
Well, there you have it Sheree is perfect and impervious to any flaw! Sheree ends with this quote: ” ‘Your reputation is a reflection of who people THINK you are, but your character is a representation of who you TRULY are…’ ” So why is she pretending to be building a huge mansion and living the lifestyle of someone very rich if she doesn’t care about her reputation?
Anyways, moving on Cynthia despite taking a lot of flack about the less than stellar “preview” of Bar One featured on last week’s episode and her faux-ship with NeNe, she is defending both! In her Bravo blog, titled “Late Not Hate,” Cynthia reveals that she “loves” NeNe and that Bar One is a thriving business.
Cynthia insists Bar One is “doing great” despite some less than stellar Yelp reviews and that contrary to what her co-stars might think Bar One is not the ghetto. “Bar One is located in the Grant Park area in Atlanta,” Cynthia explains. “When did Grant Park become the hood? Oh, when Bar One opened up there of course.” Cynthia also wants us to know a bevy of celebrities have visited the venue, such as: Ludacris, Jill Scott, Tami Roman and many more — including Sheree (yes, Cynthia graciously included her in the celebrity list…).
And as for Phaedra Parks‘ comments referring to her husband Peter Thomas as a “hustler” and a “pimp,” Cynthia is kind of flattered! “I think this was actually meant to be a compliment,” she writes. “So I’m going to let this one slide. Thank you, I guess.”
Finally, Cynthia reacts to everyone’s comments that she is NeNe’s puppy and again she insists they are merely friends — true friends — and she didn’t particularly care that NeNe was late! “I love NeNe like a fat kid loves cake and Peter loves her too. Yes, Peter and I do love NeNe, and she loves us. We are just one big happy family, just loving each other to death.”
“I didn’t do or say anything when NeNe turned up late to Bar One. I would rather NeNe come late and show us love than be on time and hate. Who cares? Everybody is always late. What was I supposed to do? Jump on her like a spider monkey and beat the crap out of her? Oh, maybe I should have poured water on her shoulder. That would have taught her a lesson.” Buuuuurn!
She fires back at Sheree’s comments that they could only afford five-minutes of the very rich and famous NeNe’s time! “NeNe only gave us five minutes because that’s all we can afford. We can’t afford NeNe for more than five minutes, but we can afford to open two businesses at the same time. Hmm… Maybe if Peter and I save up enough money, we can also afford to put skating rinks in Bar One and The Bailey Agency.”
A new episode of RHOA airs tonight and Kim Zolciak finally goes into labor, but not without her wigs! Besties NeNe and Cynthia visit NYC where she gets a little advice from mogul Russell Simmons and Sheree’s child support drama continues! A preview clip is below!
