Leah Messer vowed she would regain joint custody of her twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, and lucky her – she has!
“Leah is doing great. She had confidence that she would be proven right and get her custody rights back,” exclaims a source, of the judges decision to award joint custody to both Leah and ex-husband no. 1, Corey Simms.

Corey took Leah to court last October because the Teen Mom 2 star had difficulty managing motherhood with complaining, cheeto-eating, and securing a future dumbsband with her penis fly trap. After repeated school tardies and unexplained absences, Corey and Miranda were awarded full custody giving Leah, who spent time in treatment for drugs depression and anxiety, to get her life back together. Leah denies all of this, naturally, because she thinks we’re too stupid to read the internet!
Leah blamed the custody loss of her girls on Corey and Miranda lying in attempt to make her look bad – it had absolutely nothing to do with her own poor choices. Apparently now Leah harbors no hard feelings. “She wants the girls to be able to see their dad.”
Leah A source tells Us Weekly that Leah changed the judge’s mind about her parenting when she “proved in court that the kids were not tardy to school.” Based on this the judge decided “there was no reason the kids shouldn’t be with their mom predominantly.” MMMMM… first of all, the tardies were NOT the only reason Leah lost custody, but she can keep on with her lies (which will eventually catch up with her – yet again!). Nor was Leah granted “predominant’ custody, according to the arrangement, which seems to be conditional based upon Leah not having any more mess-ups! Plus, I believe this is a trial period and they will reconvene in a few months.
An insider explains that the exes, “came to an agreement that works best for the girls.”
The new arrangement gives Leah custody of Ali and Aleeah, 6, on Thursdays – Sundays, with Corey and Miranda having them for the remainder of the week. Corey and Miranda will also have the twins one weekend per month. Bills will be split “50-50”. How does Leah have income again? Other than MTV? Corey and Miranda have like real jobs that aren’t shilling their stupidity to reality TV!

Leah has shared joint custody of her youngest daughter Addie with ex-husband no. 2 Jeremy Calvert. Leah is currently filming Teen Mom 2 season 7, which will not include Corey, Miranda, or Jeremy.
