Following this week’s tension-filled episode of Real Housewives of Potomac, Charrisse Jackson Jordan and Karen Huger shared their thoughts on their lunch with Gizelle Bryant with Bravo. It would be an understatement to say that Charrisse and Karen were UNimpressed with Gizelle‘s olive branch.
Karen said she had hoped that Gizelle was ready to “own her mess” at lunch, “When I got the invite from Gizzy for lunch I was thinking, THANK THE LORD! She’s finally come to her senses and wants to own her mess and apologize and we can get back to being buds.” Own what, exactly? Sitting in what she deemed to be the wrong seat at her birthday dinner? Get over yourself, Karen!

“When the driver arrived with the letter of daggers from Gizzy; my thought was, ‘this child needs help,'” continued Karen. “When I got to the restaurant the girl had her GANGSTA lean on with one arm sprawled around the back of the chair and the other hand tightly gripping a glass of liquor guzzling like a dehydrated plant, I had a feeling things would go badly… mind you it was 11:30 a.m. Recipe for disaster.”
When asked why she walked out, Karen shared, “It was time to BOUNCE! I was talking to a condemned BUILDING!”
Like Karen, Charrisse went into the restaurant with a bad attitude, and nothing less than groveling from Gizelle would have been acceptable. “I knew going to lunch was a waste of time,” grumbled Charrisse. “Gizelle’s lame attempt at an apology should have simply started off apologizing. If she doesn’t see anything wrong with bringing a stranger into my home and bringing [him] to my bedroom not to mention the slamming of cabinets and all the craziness then clearly she’s just ignorant.”

Charrisse went on to say that Gizelle‘s a liar, “She will lie to your face to prove her point. I never asked her friend to do my hair. He came into my house going in on my hair and clothes. I was trying to make light of this uninvited person that I did not know coming into my personal space talking down on me because he was her friend. Oh yeah… it was a joke… they are just ‘happy’ people. Happy on what? I’m sure it wasn’t pixie dust! The fact that she doesn’t understand why I am bothered by the disrespect doesn’t shock me, because she is incapable of owning her faults.”
Needless to say, Charrisse didn’t appreciate being dismissed by Gizelle. “Now the mob boss chic wants to tell ME I can leave. Clearly, she has me confused with one of her minion friends,” she said. “Truth is, I really didn’t want to come in the first place. When I am done with someone I am DONE. They don’t exist. I am at a place now where I really want to put her in the nonexistent box.”
Charrisse said that she would’ve like to work things out with Gizelle, then she added, “But, when you’re dealing with a self absorbed individual who can’t look outside of herself, it’s highly unlikely that there is going to be a resolution. I have so much going on in my life right now, I really do not have time to focus on the daily shenanigans of Gizelle.”
