Couples Therapy is back – and per the usual some our favorite reality stars from other shows are migrating to Dr. Jenn in the hopes of salvaging their relationships! Apparently people need reality television cameras for that… (complains I who relishes in watching!). In the newly released super teaser VH1 teases all the major breakdowns, arguments, tears, and tantrums.
Season 6 promises to be “the most explosive ever” but is also endearing. Featuring reality television veterans such as Janice Dickinson (fresh from Celebrity Big Brother!) and Big Ang of Mob Wives fame. This season confronts serious issues such as gender identity, drug and alcohol abuse, and domestic violence. When the cast learns Carmen Carrera is transgender, predictably (and very unfortunately) not everyone is accepting.

Per the usual Janice is having trouble getting along with everyone from Dr. Jenn, to her fiancé Dr. Robert “Rocky” Gerner, and especially her fellow housemates! Sharing her therapy space with Love & Hip Hop New York star Joe Budden does not go swell for the former supermodel.
Joe entered the house with on-again/off-again girlfriend Kaylin Garcia to work through his infidelity and anger. But of course, other stuff gets in the way! Other stuff, like Janice Dickinson!
Janice, who has struggled through many acrimonious relationships, has serious issue with Joe’s history of domestic violence allegations. “More than three women have accused you of putting hands on them,” Kaylin reminds Joe, thus outing his past to the rest of the house.
The super teaser is dominated by Janice and Joe’s heated arguing! In one scene Janice barks “Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!” as Joe moves confrontationally towards her. Later Janice advises Joe to “Grow a d–k!” (oh my!) and summons security to intervene as she flees the room, knocking over furniture. I’m sensing a pattern here…
DR. JENN LANDS A FAMILY THERAPY SPINOFF!
Shouldn’t Joe and Janice each be focusing on mending their own f–ked up relationships? Or maybe that’s how it works with reality TV folks – in order to get along with their sig-fig, they have to be channeling their need to cause drama onto someone else. Good thing they’re all lumped in there together on American Horror Story: Couples Therapy House.
Other highlighted moments reveal embattled Creed frontman Scott Strapp, who is hoping to rebuild his marriage to wife Jaclyn. Scott struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years. At once point during his downward spiral Jaclyn filed for divorce sending Scott into a “drug-induced psychosis” and eliciting a scary reaction. “I’m a suicide bomber. I’m constantly just ticking,” he admits heart wrenchingly.
WHERE’S FARRAH – WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO RETURN TO COUPLES THERAPY?
Big Ang, struggles to trust husband Neil Murphy and Dr. Jenn confronts her about being too controlling. By the way, Dr. Jenn is now going by “Dr. Jenn Mann” (as in going back to her maiden name following her divorce! #ThoseWhoCantDoTeach).
