NYC Housewives’ Ramona Singer is once again telling it like it is, and this time around she’s unleashing her ramotional views on the Real Housewives of Miami.
In an interview with the Miami Herald, the NYC Housewife shares her opinion on RHMIA’s Elsa Patton and Lea Black. According to Ramona, Lea is badly in need of a makeover.
“I thought she looked like she was going to a costume party,” Ramona stated about the House of Gaga reject attire Lea wore to Adriana‘s gallery opening. “She looked a little ridiculous.” Oh but Ramona had more to say. “Someone’s giving her bad fashion tips. I think she needs a makeover,” added Ramona about Lea’s crimes against fashion. “It just looks like she’s stuck in a bad era.” Ouch!
And what does Ramona think of the glamorous Elsa? “I freaked out. I didn’t know if she was a man or a woman at first,” said Ramona upon facing Elsa for the first time on television. “I didn’t know if she was like a drag queen, I swear.” Telling it like it is indeed.
In other MIA news, the Miami Herald reported last week that three of the housewives – Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton and Lea Black — share a six degrees of separation with Willy Falcon and Sal Magluta, dubbed “The Boys” during the real Miami Vice era. Both currently seat in prison as Falcon pleaded guilty to money laundering and got 20 years in prison, while Magluta was convicted in 2002, sentenced to 205 years and ordered to pay a fine of $63 million for laundering cocaine profits to defense attorneys, bribed jurors and Colombian hit men.
Alexia, 43, then Alexia Figueredo married a Magluta associate Pedro L. Rosello in 1992, the same year their son Pedro aka Peter was born in Hialeah. Rosello, who cooperated as a government witness, was ultimately convicted of cocaine trafficking, and served some time in prison. Alexia and Rosello were divorced by the end of 1995.
Meanwhile, Marysol, 44, was the girlfriend of a convicted, big-time cocaine distributor who also was a cooperating witness in the federal drug case.
As for the role of Lea, 56, she is married to famed attorney Roy Black, who was paid millions to represent Magluta. When Roy was asked about the connections between the Bravo show and the Willy-and-Sal case, he simply stated, “It’s so Miami, that’s for sure.”
