The drama that is the life of Tori Spelling has taken another strange turn as the reality star was recently hospitalized for 6 days with an undisclosed illness, according to E! News. She was released on Saturday with husband Dean McDermott by her side. The hospital stay came on the heels of her marriage crisis and rumors that she and Dean may have made up the entire affair/sex addict/broekn family story just to land a new reality show.
Last week, True Tori premiered on Lifetime, bringing Tori and Dean's marriage troubles to our TVs on a weekly basis. Supposedly the troubles started soon after their wedding in 2006, but to be honest, when they met and fell for each other, they were both married to other people. Not usually the way you want to start a fairy tale romance. Everything came to a head when Emily Goodhand claimed she had a 2-day affair with McDermott. It was plastered everywhere and in order to cope with booze and sex addiction, Dean entered rehab. True Tori is supposed to be following the twosome as they try to repair their marriage.

But does their marriage really need to be repaired? Jezebel.com recently published a variety of reasons they believe the cheating scandal is fake….and they make a lot of sense.
First their timeline is off. Tori Spelling told US Weekly that he had been in treatment since before Christmas, yet they posted a 'happy family' New Year's Eve photo. Dean was also active on his blog and Twitter until mid-January. The couple was also seen looking happy leaving the sober living facility where they are shooting the show on January 9.
Tori also claims that she does not want to let Dean go because she does not want to raise the four kids by herself. But in reality, she employs up to three nannies and a personal assistant, so she obviously would not be alone.
Jezebel.com also believes that Tori may have an exclusive deal with US Weekly. She has given multiple exclusive interviews to the magazine in the past and it is also the magazine that broke the story about Dean's affair. I don't know about you, but I would not give my exclusive interview about my husband's affair to the same magazine that exposed the affair.
But sources close the couple deny that the couple faked this for a new show, telling "E! News there was no fake out, adding that the family's "drama and problems are definitely real."
Regardless of the reality of her marriage woes, with a recent hospitalization, the drama seems to be taking a toll on Tori's health. But she continues to stand by and claim she is doing whatever she can to save her family."You don't stop loving someone because they do something really bad to you," she explains. "He was my soul mate, but he completely broke my heart. It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship. But until I figure it out, I don't want my kids to know any different." She added, "I owe this relationship more than just saying something horrible happened and dismissing it. I need to figure out if he can change."
