Tonight is finale night for the Real Housewives of DC, as we get to see the aftermath of the Party Crashers Trashers known as the Salahis.
So what can we expect from the 1 hour, 15 minutes supersized episode of the show? According to a Bravo press release, tonight’s episode will document the aftermath of the White House State Dinner last November and the ensuing media frenzy surrounding the event. The other housewives learn, along with the rest of the country, of the events of that night and the questions swirling around the Salahis. The episode captures the reactions from Stacie, Linda, Cat and Mary as they hear the news, as well as Michael and Tareq’s initial response to the accusations by the media that they crashed the dinner.
Immediately following the show, Michaele And Tareq Salahi will join Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live at 10:15 pm ET/PT, where they will likely dodge the easy questions Andy will throw at them.
In other DC news, RadarOnline is reporting today that Tareq’s father Dirgham Salahi, whom he was reportedly estranged from, has passed away. The cause of death of unknown for Dirgham, who was reportedly in his mid-80s.
The Salahis made certain to issue a press release today asking for some privacy in their time of grief. “We appreciate that members of our family are the subject of some media interest for various reasons,” the family said. “But we really need to mourn in private, as grief should never be a spectacle, rather it must be a sacred meditation, and we hope you’ll understand why we will not have the media at any of the rituals celebrating this wonderful man, including any services or receptions that may occur in private.”
Finally, it seems another one of Michaele Salahi’s co-stars along with the rest of the world is having serious doubts about Michaele’s recent announcement that she has had Multiple Sclerosis for 17 years, a claim she never once revealed on the Bravo reality show.
In an interview with FOX news, Cat Ommanney echoed the sentiments of her co-star Lynda Erkiletian when she reveals her doubts about Michaele’s claims. “We were wondering whether she meant BS rather than MS. MS is a very serious disease and I wouldn’t want to mock that, it just seems ironic. Every day they seem to wake up in bed with each other and say ‘what kind of stunt shall we pull today?’ I don’t know if it is all truthful, or if it’s a cry wolf situation,” said Cat.
Cat also reveals she will not be returning for season 2 if the Salahis are still on the show. “I would think about doing a second season, but I definitely wouldn’t if they were involved, nothing in life is worth that kind of detriment to my soul,” she said.
Multiple media outlets have reported Bravo does not plan on having the Salahis back for the next season, though Bravo has yet to confirm the news.
