Big Rich Texas star Melissa Poe is now engaged! Melissa's beau of nine months, Doug Carson, popped the question during a recent trip to Charleston, South Carolina.
"I'm engaged to the most incredible man," shares Melissa. "I'm so lucky to have found a good one!"
Melissa also reveals that she and Doug are planning a September wedding, adding, "I really want Doug and Maddie to have time to bond before she goes off to college next summer."
The happy (and stunning!) couple intend to honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas.

Carson is the security Director for the Westin Galleria Hotel. He is a former cop, having served on the Dallas Police Dept. for 14 years before going into private protection.
Melissa laughingly says, "Now I have my own real life bodyguard!"
Melissa jokes, but as we all know, those Texas chili cook-offs can be brutal!
Will Big Rich Texas fans be treated to several weddings next season?
It's definitely a possibility, as Whitney Whatley and Brandon "Booger" Overbey and Kalyn Braun and Paul Lewis are also getting married this year, but only time will tell. The details surrounding season four of Big Rich Texas (and any spin-offs that may be in the works) remain tightly guarded.
