I focused on one thing on Sunday's episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey. No, it wasn't Teresa Giudice catching sister-in-law Melissa Gorga in a lie (although how obvious was that?), and it wasn't gym-gate 2013 with Poison. It was Milania. Gracious!
I am not going to say anything negative about her children (or anyone's for that matter), as I think the girls are equally adorable and hilarious. G-to-the-I-A may be the most mature person on the entire show. It's been fun to watch her grow up into such a sweet young lady. That said, Wendy Williams has no qualms about talking smack about Teresa's kids. Yikes!
Teresa also addresses her fans on all things family and loyalty and respect and lather, rinse, repeat. Let's get some new material please!

In her Bravo blog, Teresa first and foremost thanks her fans for their well wishes to her sick father. She shares, "Also, thank you all for your kind wishes and prayers for my dad. He had a rough winter with pneumonia and his pacemaker surgery, but he's back up and around and doing great. It was very scary though, because he was really, really sick. It's so hard to see my father, who was always such a big, strong man, so much larger than life, getting older and having health issues. I know that's the way of life for those of us lucky to have our parents still, but it's still hard. Nothing about watching those you love in pain is easy."
Tre continues, "My dad has emphysema, so he has weak lungs. He's been in the hospital before, but this last time was the worst because he was in the ICU. We weren't sure how things were going to go, and my mother and I basically camped out with him. I wasn't going to leave his side. We were going to cancel Gia's birthday party, but my dad didn't want us to. He was in the hospital a week and finally got moved out of ICU, so we did go ahead with Gia's party."
Discussing the discord with Melissa over the situation, Teresa blogs, "I think you can see from this episode that Melissa and I do not come from the same place. She twists everything I say or do, and says that I do the same thing to her. I'm sure it's exhausting to watch, because it is exhausting to live. I love her, she is family, but I'm not sure I'm ever going to like her. At least not all the time. Some people just don't match your personality, and that's fine. You can't be best friends with everyone. Some people don't like their own blood sisters and brothers. That my sister-in-law and I don't get along perfectly is not earth-shattering news," adding, "But I just can't stand by when she uses my parents publicly. They really do love her and love her kids just like they love my brother. And she doesn't have her own dad around, so my dad has tried to be her dad for 8 years now. I personally think that deserves a drop-everything when you hear "our" dad is in the ICU."
Keeping tabs on the family's visits (or lack thereof) Teresa writes, "I was by his side when my dad woke up and said it wasn't his time. I was there when he worried that he hadn't seen or even heard from Melissa or her kids. She is a daughter to him, just as my husband Joe, who is always there, is a son to him. You have to remember my dad is off-the-boat old school. Respect is a big, big deal to him. After 8 years, Melissa knows that. She's a smart girl when it comes to people; she knows how to work 'em. She knew what it would mean for her to not go. So for her to show so little respect — not to see him for 4 days when he's in the ICU, to only stop by 1 time for 1 hour total when he was in the hospital for a week — that really stood out to my parents. And for my dad to say something to ME tells me how hurt he is."
Explaining Kim D's part of the whole debacle, Tre explains, "People like Kim, who know and care about my dad, don't like to see him disrespected either. We all know Kim doesn't take any bullsh*t, so she asked Melissa at the party — in a back room for adults only — about visiting my dad right to her face…I couldn't believe she would lie to Kim with a straight face, so, I couldn't help it, I asked her myself when she saw him. And she lied right to my face. And then called me a liar. I was shocked, but I guess I shouldn't have been. I wasn't trying to call her out. I only wanted to let her know that her absence was really felt by my dad and it hurt them. No matter how sick she was or wasn't, a simple phone call would have meant a lot to them."
Touching on her daughter seeing the ugliness, Teresa blogs, "Of course I'm upset that Gia had to see any confrontation, but I didn't want one at all, so I backed down immediately. I don't know why Melissa seemed upset when she left, because she stayed for cake and the professional photos, but I was happy they came at all. Baby steps!"
Speaking of Teresa's daughters, Rumor Fix has Wendy's take on Teresa's wily daughters. After the most recent episode, Wendy said that the girls weren't cute, saying, “I don’t like to talk about people’s kids, but watching Teresa and Joe’s daughters running around… mean mugging the camera, and talking sooo disrespectfully to Teresa…”
Wendy has one piece of advice for the Bravolebrity: “Teresa, it’s time for you to get off of reality TV!”
Wow, that was way harsh, Tai. Bonus point for those of you who get that reference!
