Last week was huge for NeNe Leakes. It's no wonder she's been slack on writing her Bravo blog…she's been rubbing elbows with major movie stars and acting on an award-winning sitcom. I mean, seriously, let's all go back to season one when NeNe was drunk and singing in that limo. Did you ever think she would become this much of a legitimate and hard-working success? WIG! Her most recent blog post is definitely assalicious, as she weighs in on the Donkey Booty battle between Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore.
Kenya is also making a name for herself, as most housewives do, by recording a new song. I'm sure you watched it in all of it's glory on Watch What Happens Live, but if not, please, immediately click here. It's oh so worth it. She discusses her debut in a recent interview, and she chats about watching herself on Real Housewives of Atlanta.

NeNe writes in her Bravo blog, "I've missed a week or so of chatting with you guys because I have been busy filming The New Normal and I attended my first Golden Globes, which was exciting and overwhelming at the same time. It was truly an honor, because many actors never get the call that they have seats at such a prestigious event." That's the Neenster I know and love.
Discussing Sunday's episode, NeNe jokes, "This past episode was all about being an ass, LOL! Me personally, I like to roll with Team Right! Friend or no friend! Let me take you back a minute. Remember when Phaedra was going to represent Sheree [Whitfield] in her
She continues, "It’s funny how the two of them pride themselves on being such business women but didn’t have enough business sense to have a contract upfront. My thoughts are this: from what I could see on the show, Phaedra didn’t think Kenya deserved to be paid. If Kenya was going to help produce Phaedra's donkey booty video, she should be paid for her efforts and hard work! Surely Phaedra paid the men she met with."
The always hilarious NeNe finally casts her vote in the great butt debate, sharing, "Now if I have to choose between a donkey or stallion booty, I will go with a stallion because it just sounds and looks better, but at the end of the day, I don’t want either one of them! The ass I choose is my own. Now may the best ass win!"
Speaking of asses, some people think that Kenya looked like one when she sang her new song on WWHL. I, of course, thought she was GWTWF. Kenya recently spoke with OK! about her performance of Gone with the Wind Fabulous (and Twirl!), exclaiming, "I am feeling so great after my first performance of Gone with the Wind Fabulous. I did it on Watch What Happens Live, and you know, I had two fabulous dancers and some Beyonce hair. I was excited…it turned out to be quite a little hit on my hands."
She continues, "I'm not Celine Dion. It really doesn't matter. It's just a fun song. I thought it was a cool way to show people that you don't have to listen to people who hate on you…as long as you think you're fabulous it really doesn't matter what anyone else says. It's a song about empowering and uplifting people, and I'm happy about it." Well, she certainly got the Celine Dion part correct! Kidding, I like seeing this softer, saner side of Kenya.
Kenya shares that she received some pre-performance advice from Lawrence Washington, who told her, "Now look, once you go out there, you just clear your mind, and it's all about you. Honey, you step into that character and just give them all the fabulousness, and don't be afraid to just be fabulous." Lawrence should know!
Finally, Kenya admits that it's hard to watch herself on RHOA and seeing how she perceives herself according to how she was portrayed. She explains, "I come across to hard in the beginning episodes that it's hard for me to even watch sometimes. I think that once I agreed to do a reality show, it's my reality. Whatever I'm going through is what I'm going through. If I was in a scene or in a situation, you have to raw or authentic emotions. You can't fake that." And twirl!
