Joe Bradley has been riling up the stews all season on Below Deck Mediterranean. Perhaps it’s the eyebrows, but Ellie Dubaich and Bri Muller have been competing over the deckhand. Now, the stews can commiserate over the fact that Joe is interested in the new crew member, Carrie O’Neill.
The deckhand jumped right into flirting with the Scottish stew. And it becomes very apparent on the crew night out, that both Bri and Ellie noticed.
Joe Bradley jokes about “being in trouble” when Carrie O’Neill comes on board
In a clip for Below Deck Med Season 9, Episode 14, the crew meets Carrie for the first time. It’s chaos as cabins have to be rearranged to accommodate the new stew. But she walks in confident enough.
Nathan Gallagher tells Joe about Carrie and shares her nationality. The latter joked about not being “into Scottish women” before then announcing to his roommate that he was “in trouble” upon seeing Carrie.
“I’m not gonna lie. Better than Bri and Ellie. She’s Scottish though,” the lothario reacted. This man is… basic.
After the pleasantries, the crew got ready for a night out. And the banter between Joe and Carrie continued at the dinner table. Both of the remaining stews watch on from the sides. And neither are interacting with their former crush.
Bri said in a confessional interview, “I know Joe’s gonna flirt with Carrie. Number three. At least I was number one.”
As for Ellie, she seems more concerned about the camaraderie between Carrie and Chief Stew Aesha Scott.
“Aesha and Carrie seem to be getting along very quickly. This might mean some sort of trouble for me. I’ve earned my position on this boat. And if my position should be threatened at all, I’m not going to back down. That’s how I operate,” the second stew told producers.
