Bachelor Nation star Wells Adams got his fill of Real Housewives on Season 3 of The Traitors. Wells joined the upcoming season along with Housewives Dolores Catania, Dorinda Medley, Chanel Ayan, and Robyn Dixon. And let’s not forget Bravolebrity, Tom Sandoval. The podcaster and former radio host dished about his time on the show and how he couldn’t keep up with the talkative energy brought by the Bravo stars.
Wells Adams claimed being quiet on The Traitors would be seen as “shady”
In case you need a refresher, The Traitors is a competition show where celebrity contestants battle it out in a series of challenges to build up money for the prize pot. Host Alan Cumming also decides which contestants are “Traitors,” someone who can kill off other contestants, and which ones are “Faithfuls.” The contestants vote to banish Traitors, and if there are any left standing, they win the entire prize pot.
US Weekly reported Wells thoughts on his fellow contestants and game play. He said, “I really didn’t know anybody. I’m not a Housewives fan. There’s a ton of Housewives. I was like, ‘What are you even doing on this show?’” Did he not watch Season 2? Phaedra Parks ruled the roost!
Wells also shared that if you weren’t talking all day long, that put you under suspicion. He said, “People would perceive that as shady if you weren’t always gabbing. I’m always, like, I don’t have the energy to do this all day.” You know who does? Housewives! Wells added, “It’s all the Housewives who can’t stop talking.” Hopefully, this means more Bravo stars made it to the end just like in Season 2.
He also spilled the tea on the gameplay from other contestants. Wells shared, “It is a game, I don’t think anyone really is angry at anybody. Obviously, [if someone] gets killed or banished, they get pissed off … At least that’s how I took it.”
He added, “You can learn a lot about people by how they attempt these missions. If you are a Traitor, you don’t need immunity. So you might not be working as hard.” Wells concluded the whole experience was a “huge mindf*ck.”
The Traitors is streaming on Peacock.
