Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey was unique for several reasons. First, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga refused to interact on camera. The famous family feud was over, but the repercussions were still swirling. With the cast divided into two groups, plans for a reunion were scrapped after a fiasco of a finale. And recently, Dolores Catania’s ex-husband, Frank Catania ignited some drama by alleging that Teresa wasn’t returning to RHONJ. But that may not be the case after all.
Is Teresa Giudice going to keep her OG spot in Season 15 of RHONJ?
Andy Cohen has made it plain that RHONJ is getting a refresh. Whether that means an entirely new cast, or keeping some familiar stars and adding new cast members. Obviously, keeping both Teresa and Melissa wouldn’t work.
Meanwhile, Frank previously spilled some tea. “I’ve heard the same [rumors] about Teresa being asked to leave, as opposed to being fired,” he stated. “But it’s a shame because, you know, I see Teresa landing someplace.”
Now there is a report that Teresa hasn’t been exiled from the franchise – yet. An insider told TMZ that Teresa hasn’t been asked to exit the show. In addition, no casting decisions have been made at all. A separate source told TMZ that producers aren’t going to start discussing casting for Season 15 of RHONJ until sometime early in 2025.
Still, Teresa also kicked up rumors that she was leaving with a cryptic Instagram Story post. The message read, “Sometimes God closes doors because it’s time to move forward. He [knows] you won’t move unless your circumstances force you. Trust the transition. God’s got you!”
Recently, Teresa also stated, as she often has, that she is only leaving RHONJ when Bravo gives her the word. It is interesting because Frank’s claim, coupled with Teresa’s Instagram message, would seem to indicate that the OG was leaving. As of right now, we have no confirmation that Teresa was, or wasn’t, asked to leave the franchise.
