Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County feels fresh and like it is returning to form. Alexis Bellino is back as a friend of the housewives, and she is now dating Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. Plus, newbie Katie Ginella is doing her best to create drama with Heather Dubrow. Fancy Pants doesn’t appreciate being called a liar. Just ask Heather’s former RHOC co-star, Noella Bergener.
Why would Katie Ginella think that being called “Noella 1.5” by Heather Dubrow was “a compliment?”
Heather called Katie “Noella 1,” which was not a compliment. Heather and Noella clashed during Season 16, with both ladies accusing the other of not being authentic. And it was nasty. But Katie decided to embrace Heather’s shade.
“I actually didn’t really know Noella,” Katie told Entertainment Tonight. “I only knew some of the things the women told me about Noella and so, when she said that, I had to kind of Google it.” Katie continued, “I think it was meant to be a dig, but I took it as I don’t know? A compliment.”
Then she ran down the reasons that the Noella remark was a great nickname. “Noella’s gorgeous, she’s funny, she’s smart. She owns her business, so I loved it. I embraced it. I called myself ‘Noella 1.5’ in a post,” the Orange County newbie added.
Now Katie is ready to meet the real Noella. I would love to be a fly on the wall when that happens. Heather’s ears will be on fire. “And Noella and I have a mutual friend right now trying to get us together for lunch. So we can get a ‘Noella 1 and 1.5’ photo, it’ll be great.”
Katie thought that Heather would laugh about the paparazzi
As for the reason that Heather and Katie are feuding? RHOC viewers know that the cast talked about whether Heather called the paparazzi while she was enjoying Disneyland with her family. Well, Katie has a friend who runs the paparazzi, and he confirmed that Heather allegedly does call the paparazzi on herself. Of course, when Heather learned that Katie was spreading this rumor, she was furious.
“I wasn’t looking for something. I didn’t come in with ill intent to hurt Heather or look for information on Heather,” Katie stated. “I’m not coming for her. It was confusing to me all these things that were domino-ing.” She added, “I was hoping we would both laugh it off, ’cause it’s silly!”
Well, Heather denied Katie’s accusations. And Fancy Pants was appalled when Katie claimed that she was lying. I do hope that Katie wasn’t expecting to cozy up to Heather this season. That ship just sank.
