RHOA’s Drew Sidora Still Residing With Ralph Pittman Amid Divorce, He Stays ‘In the Basement’

Season 15 of Real Housewives of Atlanta was sleepy and a far cry from the franchise’s heydey. It was obvious that a cast change was coming. Kandi Burruss walked away, and Shereé Whitfield, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross hit the exit door. Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora kept their peaches, while Porsha Williams returned. At least Drew has a continuing storyline for Season 16 of RHOA – her divorce from Ralph “Tampa” Pittman.

The former couple are still residing together amid their split. In March 2023, Drew beat Ralph to the courthouse by less than an hour to file for divorce. “It’s still not settled and yes, we’re still living together under the same roof. I didn’t even know that could happen,” Drew told People. “I was like, ‘What?’ But yeah — he is living in the basement, and that was court-ordered.” It seems to be a popular lifestyle choice among divorcing Bravo stars.

“We’re kind of like the blueprint for a sh*t show divorce,” Drew quipped. The actress continued, “It’d be much easier if we were able to move on separately; you know, out of sight, out of mind, with your own space and your own energy. So sharing space has been a double whammy.”

RHOA viewers may recall how Ralph disappeared for days in Tampa without telling his wife his whereabouts. He was also allegedly a gaslighter, but Drew found the courage to break free.

“When you’re dealing with someone who wants everything and is just not willing to walk away with what he came in with, it makes it very, very hard,” she shares. “So I’m just learning how this process can go in the worst-case scenario,” Drew explained. “And I’m taking it literally one day at a time.”

Drew shares two children with Ralph and has a child from a prior relationship. “But to keep some normalcy for my babies has meant everything to me. To be able to put my arms around my kids during those tough times … I think it’s been helpful for all of us,” she stated.

But Drew is looking ahead to the day when this divorce is behind her. “I’m going to probably have a divorce party after this because it’s unimaginable what you have to go through in this type of situation. So when I get on the other side?” Drew said. “We’re partying.”

RHOA viewers will no doubt learn more about Drew’s complicated situation with Ralph during Season 16.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock.
