Gia Giudice grew up before our eyes on the Real Housewives of New Jersey series. She first captured our hearts as a sweet little girl singing about her broken family. Later, we rooted for Gia as her family fell apart, ending in prison stays and a divorce for her parents. Newly graduated from Rutgers University, Gia’s back on our screens once again, and if you ask Teresa Giudice about this, she’ll tell you that Gia is actually “better” at this whole Real Housewives thing than she is.
Teresa is one proud mother
Gia’s receiving backlash for getting involved in grown folk’s businesses this season. But also, some of these grown folks brought Gia’s name up themselves. Because apparently, analogies are super hard to get right.
But also, do we expect Gia to remain silent as her name makes the rounds with her mother’s costars? I mean, I couldn’t. I would mention it all, were I Gia.
Recently appearing on one of Bravo’s Highlights reels, a producer asked Teresa about Gia’s increased presence this season. In response, Teresa gushed, “Gia. She’s amazing. I look at her too and I’m like, I made that,” she joked.
As a parent, “you question yourself,” Teresa noted. “Did I do a good job? And then you look at your kid and you’re like, oh my God. The way she speaks and the way she is, I feel like she’s amazing. She is amazing. I feel like she’s better than me,” Teresa further explained.
Tre’s right. Gia holds her own, and she has a bright career in law ahead of her. Could Gia be the next wave for RHONJ?
Either way, one thing is for certain moving forward. Gia is about to move in with her boyfriend, which Teresa remains on the fence about. Regardless of what Gia decides, Teresa will “support whatever she wants to do.” Because Gia is also grown, so she can do as she chooses.
Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 airs every Sunday on Bravo at 8/7c.
