Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs had a very intense interaction with her castmate and longtime friend Dolores Catania.
Margaret recalled a very heated moment with her close friend during filming of RHONJ Season 14. In a teaser for the season, Dolores actually called Marge, “You f*cking, lying [see you next Tuesday]!”
“I was a little shocked at that,” Margaret admitted. “It was very upsetting.”
Dolores loses her cool
The Macbeth Collection founder was grateful that she and Dolo “made up very quickly” and put the spat behind them. She added that the fight with her bestie had “nothing to do with” castmate Jackie Goldschneider.
After a misunderstanding with Dolo earlier in the season, Jackie texted Margaret, “[Catania is] a f*cking slob. And I hate her.” Of course, Marge, being Dolo’s good friend, had no choice but to forward the incriminating message to Dolores.
Dolores took major offense at Jackie’s use of the word “slob.” Apparently, that’s a bigger insult in New Jersey than it is in the rest of the U.S. And while Jackie may have made a temporary friend in Teresa Giudice, she’d better be careful about alienating the rest of the group, ’cause when Tre’s done with her, who’s gonna be her buddy?
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Margaret discussed Jackie and Teresa’s new friendship. Marge thinks Tre and Jackie “deserve each other.”
“I am a good friend,” she said. “I’m brutally honest, and that’s what you get with me as a friend. What you get with both of them is a friend[ship] … calculated for convenience … It’s not a true friendship.”
I completely agree with her. Teresa already admitted that she only “need[ed]” Jackie because she “want[ed] Margaret to be exposed.” Her exact words were, “Who cares about Jackie? I just need her to take down Margaret.”
Teresa will use Jackie for whatever she can get out of her. But when she’s done, she’ll kick her to the curb like she does everyone else.
