Devasting news for Love and Marriage: Huntsville fans. Keke Jabbar has sadly passed away at age 42. The news was confirmed via her family, including Keke’s cousin and castmate, LaTisha Moore Scott. However, questions remain about what exactly happened to Keke.
Rest in Peace, Keke
A blogger named Marcella Speaks was the first to report the news of Keke’s passing. Her family shared a statement, which Marcella uploaded to YouTube.
“It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke,” the statement read.
It continued, “She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love. She was a mom, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love, and laughter. She will be sorely missed and at this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss. The Jabbar Family and the Scott Family.”
The family did not share a cause of death, which has opened the door for fans to speculate about what happened. She has been open about her past struggles with opioids and often fought with Latisha over her sobriety.
During Season 7, she famously took a drug test to prove her sobriety. That plan backfired when some of her castmates accused her of using someone else’s urine. At the reunion, she vehemently denied all of the accusations.
On Instagram, Latisha reacted to the news of her cousin’s passing. Similarly to the statement issued by the rest of the family, she asked LAMH fans for privacy and respect while they grieve their loss.
Latisha wrote, “At this time we are asking for RESPECT, and PRIVACY in our moment of grief, while we process this great loss! This is hard for our Family!!!!!”
