While everyone knew Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 would probably get violent, things took a turn thanks to Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin. The two got into an unexpectedly nasty confrontation on camera, with blood being drawn.
Danielle and Jen were briefly suspended from filming as an investigation got underway. Eventually, fans would see the fight, where Jennifer pushed Danielle and the latter returned the blow with a cup to the head.
The unexpected altercation was definitely a cause for concern, both among viewers and those in production. With the show reaching such a fever pitch, would it be better to just pull the plug? And what else would the season have in store for us? Months on, Danielle has some thoughts on the matter.
Danielle blames the fight with Jen on her impulsiveness
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Danielle discussed all things RHONJ. As such, she naturally had to address the fight. When asked if she had any regrets regarding the encounter, she began, “The beauty of what I bring to the show? It’s very reality. It is not staged. I think everything you see is based on like, an in-the-moment – my face tells everything.”
Thus, she explained, “I only regret letting someone that evil get to me. Because I should have, in that moment, said, ‘Ha, okay, you’re a loser.’ But I just couldn’t, man.” However, that wouldn’t be the end of it. Danielle teased, “And that’s nothing. Wait till you guys see the finale. It gets even dirtier and more evil than what she said to me.”
If the finale was truly so evil, maybe it’s no wonder why they canceled the reunion. Then again, perhaps the entire RHONJ cast is just a little too sensitive, for lack of a better word. The cast members have antagonized each other a little too heavily at this point, and anything might set them off. As it stands, Real Housewives of New Jersey is a ticking time bomb.
