During Season 13 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, OG Kyle Richards dealt with her marriage starting to crumble. She seemed unhappy in her longtime union with Mauricio Umansky, and the couple eventually separated. Kyle was reluctant to share any details, which annoyed RHOBH fans. And some of her co-stars, too.
Some of the cast felt that Kyle wasn’t showing her authentic life. Meanwhile, Kyle wasn’t sure if she would return for Season 14. She finally decided to face the cameras again, with her sister, Kathy Hilton, along for the ride. Kathy is returning once again in a friend role.
Someone on the RHOBH cast annoyed Kyle
During an Amazon Live Q&A session, Kyle fielded questions along with her daughter, Sophia Umansky. “Who would you say is really bringing it this season that surprised you?” a fan asked.
Kyle hesitated, before Sophia replied, “Yourself?” Kyle laughed, then responded, “I may or may not have had some moments so far that have not been very fun for me, I will say.”
The actress continued, “So let’s just say – yeah. I’ve had some moments already this season that I had to have a little recovery from. Hey – I was provoked,” she stated. “I was provoked. Okay. That’s all I’m going to say.” Come on! Don’t leave us hanging!
Kyle has already admitted that she is having problems with Dorit Kemsley. Dorit and her husband, PK Kemsley, also recently separated. Kyle explained that while the friends “should be” helping each other, “Unfortunately, that’s not where we’re at right now in our relationship.” Plus, Kyle has also shared that she isn’t getting along with Sutton Stracke. Well, no surprise there.
At least her co-parenting with Mauricio for their daughter, Portia Umansky, is running smoothly. It sounds like next season Kyle will be in the middle of the drama again. Hopefully, Season 14 of RHOBH will deliver both some humor and some fireworks.
