Well, you probably didn’t see this coming. Years after their on-screen blow-up on Below Deck Mediterranean, Captain Sandy Yawn and Hannah Ferrier have buried the hatchet. Pigs aren’t flying, and hell hasn’t frozen over. Instead, these two ladies seem to have let time heal their wounds.
Hannah and Sandy never saw eye to eye
In case you need a refresher, the feud between Hannah and Captain Sandy started pretty much as soon as they started working together. The two never had a positive working relationship, with each of them competing to be the show’s main character. The final nail in Hannah’s coffin came during Season 5 when Hannah got fired for having a CBD vape pen and some undisclosed anxiety medication. Malia White snitched on her, and Captain Sandy made it seem like Hannah tried to smuggle hardcore drugs onto the boat.
At the reunion that year, Hannah and Sandy never really got on the same page. Hannah felt like she was under attack. Meanwhile, Captain Sandy blabbed on about “maritime law.” The whole thing felt obnoxious, and it signaled the end of Hannah’s time on Bravo.
Putting the feud to rest
Since then, Hannah got married, started a family, and has been living peacefully away from the world of superyachts. Apparently, that time away helped her find forgiveness for her former boss. Captain Sandy recently revealed during an interview that she recently talked to Hannah during a visit to Australia.
“I saw Hannah the other night and we had a great conversation,” Sandy, said.
Sandy went on to explain how she visited Hannah’s house and even got to meet her three-year-old. It’s a far cry from just earlier this year when Hannah revisited the feud. At that time, she said she wouldn’t want to work with Sandy again because of how she treated her. According to Sandy, they’ve left all of that in the past.
“A lot of people think [I don’t like her]. But I don’t not like anyone. Honestly. I like Hannah. I actually care about Hannah. She knows that. I hope she’s listening because I do care about Hannah,” Captain Sandy said.
So there you have it. This feud has officially been put to rest. However, it remains unclear if Hannah has forgiven Malia. After all, Sandy would have never fired Hannah if Malia didn’t snitch.
