Lala Kent doesn’t want the smoke with Kyle Richards.
After likening the rumors that she got pregnant for a “storyline” to Kyle’s marital problems, the Vanderpump Rules star is clearing the air. During her appearance on Two Ts In A Pod, Lala claimed that it wasn’t her intention to be shady.
“I was trying to say because people were saying I staged my pregnancy for a storyline,” she said. “So I was saying, like, ‘Yeah, and Kyle and Mauricio [Umansky] staged breaking up their entire family for a storyline.'”
Lala retracts her statements, saying she “feels bad” about coming for Kyle and Mauricio
Later, during her podcast appearance, Lala told Teddi Mellencamp that she needed “to be better” about the statements she makes so that she doesn’t ruffle any feathers.
“I did not know that’s how people took it,” Lala said before adding, “Oh, no, I feel so bad.”
If you were watching, Kyle experienced a rough go during the last season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Prior to the start of Season 13, news broke that she and her husband were experiencing marital difficulties.
Although they initially denied the claims, at the Season 13 reunion, the Beverly Hills OG told Andy Cohen that there was trouble in paradise, causing her to lose trust in her partner of nearly 30 years.
Season 14 of the Bravo series has begun production. However, it’s still unclear what will be shown between Kyle and Mauricio. The real estate mogul discussed issues from his perspective on his Netflix series, Buying Beverly Hills. Although it would’ve been easy to avoid the difficult conversations, he chose to address them for transparency’s sake.
“The reality is that we are going through our issues after being married for 28, 29 years,” he said. “We did it, and we chose to put it on camera.”
