There’s been a lot of chatter surrounding Margaret Josephs and the Real Housewives of New Jersey. If you haven’t been keeping up, the streets (Jackie Goldschneider) are saying Marge asked a few of her co-stars to leave the series if Luis Ruelas returned. Of course, there’s been denial on her part (thanks, Tamra Judge), but Jackie is standing by it.
So, what’s the truth?
During their appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Jackie and Jenn Fessler discussed the drama regarding Margaret. In an earlier interview, Jackie said Marge asked her and Jenn to leave the show because of her drama with Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis.
“Margaret wanted, if [Luis Ruelas] was coming back to the show, she didn’t want me and Jenn Fessler to come back to the show,” she said. “She wanted to leave, and she wanted all of us to leave together.”
Jackie continued, saying Jenn Fessler was willing to quit; however, she was not. “‘I love you,’” Jackie told her. “But I’m not leaving my job because you don’t like somebody.’”
Jenn remembers it differently, though. She revealed that she offered to leave for Margaret, but she wasn’t asked to quit. “I said to Margaret, ‘If you don’t want to do the show, I understand that. And I love you, and it’s about your kid. I won’t go back if you don’t go back.’”
When Andy Cohen tried to get to the bottom of it on WWHL, Jackie maintained her stance: “[Margaret] said, ‘If Luis comes back to the show, we all have to leave.'”
Jenn added to the conversation, saying she wasn’t asked to leave. “I had volunteered because she was so upset,” Jenn said before telling Jackie not to “look at me like that.”
“That’s exactly how it went down,” she continued. “It’s 100 percent true. She never asked me to not do the show.”
