We all know Jax Taylor has a big mouth. As far as rumors go, he’s the #1 gossip in the group. He just can’t seem to keep a juicy tidbit to himself and loves weaponizing other people’s secrets.
The Valley co-star Kristen Doute is well aware that Jax loves sharing his castmates’ private information. “I’ve said it since day one, season one of Vanderpump [Rules] with Jax — why Jax can be so terrifying … If he has anything on you, it’s coming out,” she shared.
Now that she’s known Jax for well over a decade, she’s “not afraid of it anymore … I’m just so used to it. It goes in my ear and right out the other one.”
Jax “can’t keep his mouth shut”
On the June 6 episode of The Viall Files podcast, Kristen told Nick Viall that Jax is fully aware that he “can’t keep his mouth shut.” She believes his loose lips are especially “sad” for his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright.
“Fine, whatever, for everyone else,” she added. “But your own wife? So [Jax] makes everything up. If he doesn’t have anything to spill, he’s going to make it up. And that’s the scary part.”
As fans know, Brittany announced in February 2024 that she had separated from her husband and taken their three-year-old son Cruz with her. According to Kristen, the couple has a complex relationship.
“[They] have a lot of fun together when [Taylor] doesn’t suck,” she said. “They are best friends [and] do love being home, just the two of them. And watching their silly sitcoms and playing games together. And cracking up.”
Sadly, Kristen doesn’t hold out much hope that the couple will reconcile. From what we saw and heard on The Valley, Jax treated his wife horribly. “I don’t have hope for reconciliation,” Kristen admitted. “But ask me in a few weeks, I might change my mind.”
Even though Brittany isn’t dating amid the separation, Jax is rumored to already be moving on. He’s reportedly partying like the old days in Vegas and may even have a new girlfriend. Brit deserves better.
