Summer House fans have really been enjoying Season 8. It delivered on all the tumultuous drama between then-betrothed couple Carl Radke and Linsday Hubbard. Breakout stars Jesse Solomon and West Wilson brought fresh energy and a light-heartedness to the show, especially when it comes to their friendship with each other and Loverboy founder Kyle Cooke.
The latter mentioned newbie also started an undefined flirtation with Ciara Miller. The Missouri native charmed the veteran Bravolebrity with his sense of humor, but there were remarks made about how he measured up physically to the professional model.
It turns out that fans have reached out to West to praise him for representation of a more average man. And the sports writer is happy to be compared to his lanky co-stars if it means a percentage of viewers feel “seen.”
West had viewers feeling “seen”
“I’ve had a couple of guys DM me who claim to not be good looking or in shape and they’re like, you know, ‘I feel so seen by you,’” West exclusively told The New York Times. “If the overweight man felt seen by me — like if that’s my role — then let’s do it I guess.”
“I’m here for it,” West stated in the profile published Sunday, May 26.
The reality TV star felt comfortable with his status of being “sort of handsome,” as labeled by viewers. He also got a lot of praise for his humor and charm.
West recalled discussing how he would be portrayed on the hit reality TV show. He told producers he didn’t want to be “another white guy who gets pigeonholed into being some douchey, fratty, dumb, racist Missouri guy. Because I know that I’m not.”
But while West got a lot of positive feedback for his personality, Ciara started to question his laid-back attitude. The duo tried to discuss a potential next step in their situationship during a recent date. And the Missouri native had a hard time expressing himself eloquently.
Fans are still waiting to find out if Ciara and West continued their romance after the summer ended.
