Jax Taylor is very protective of his project. The Vanderpump Rules alum now stars on The Valley, which is being renewed for another season. He and Brittany Cartwright are baring their marital issues on camera, along side their other friends Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Michelle Lally, Jesse Lally and VPR alum Kristen Doute.
It’s a full house, and there just isn’t room for any more VPR personalities. Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are in close proximity to the VPR spinoff cast. But Jax is pushing hard against the duo appearing on The Valley.
Scheana thinks that Jax is “afraid” of her joining The Valley
Scheana responded to the snub on the Friday, May 24 episode of the Good As Gold singer’s Scheananigans podcast.
“I also saw that for the second time on his podcast, he has said that he does not want me or Lala to join The Valley because it would be disrespectful to the current cast and no one wants us,” the Bravolebrity stated. “Actually Jax, I just think you don’t want us. If we did a poll, these are all our friends.”
“You are afraid of me and Lala being on the show because we’re gonna call you out for the s—t we actually know,” Scheana teased.
As further snippets of gossip are coming out about the dissolution of his relationship with Brittany, it feels like any revelations about Jax wouldn’t be a surprise at this point.
However, the singer revealed that her former co-star initially tried to get her on The Valley.
“When the whole concept of The Valley was coming to fruition, Jax and Brittany [Cartwright] were the ones who were like, ‘We want you and Brock in it,’” she claimed. “Now that we are in a little you-blocked-me-on-Instagram phase, you are like, ‘We don’t want Scheana.’”
Indeed, the ratings are saying The Valley is delivering without more heavy-weights from Vanderpump Rules.
“The one thing he said that I agreed with is he said, ‘We don’t need them.’ And he is right,” Scheana said. “You don’t need us. But I think some of you want us.”
It remains to be seen whether this is even an issue to fight over. Bravo recently confirmed a second season of The Valley. Will Lala and Scheana participate in some way?
