Ken Todd Shoots Down DWTS Hopes: ‘I Can’t Even Walk, Let Alone Dance’

When Dancing with the Stars professional Gleb Savchenko declared that Ken Todd would be his top choice to dance on the long-running show, Americans collectively slapped their palms to their foreheads. Ken’s wife, Lisa Vanderpump, couldn’t finish her season, and she’s fifteen years younger than him.

Hopefully, Gleb was just playing with us, since Lisa was his Season 16 partner. But Ken assures us that he has no dancing aspirations at his age. He is not Christopher Walken.

“Oh no!” he said, addressing the rumors, “I can’t even walk, let alone dance.”

“Seriously, no,” Ken told The U.S. Sun. “[My wife] is the dancer, not me … She is a genius and a nice person, a really nice person.”

Aside from Ken’s reluctance to trip the light fantastic, Lisa addressed rumors that Vanderpump Rules could be canceled following the conclusion of Season 11, which filmed during the summer of 2023. There are no plans to film further episodes of Pump Rules in the immediate future.

“Well, they say that every year for the last three years,” Lisa responded. “So take a breath, we will be back.”

While VPR is on hold, Lisa has other shows airing, including Vanderpump Villa and The Valley. The networks are hoping to find something else to replace the long-running and popular Pump Rules, which may have finally run its course. Last year’s Scandoval literally saved the show from imminent cancelation, but it may be time for the cast to grow up and move on.

“Even being an executive producer on the show Vanderpump Villa was kind of born between us and the production company and Hulu,” Lisa said. “We really kind of thought, ‘What would just be something that would be so organic, authentic, but beautiful to look at’ … And people seem to really love watching that show.”

“Vanderpump Rules has been going for many years and is as authentic as it could be,” she added. “I mean it’s unbelievable, that show.”
