Move over Ariana Madix! There’s a new Vanderpump Rules star getting all the brand deals. And that is Tom Sandoval’s former assistant, Ann Maddox. Ann won over fans this season with her happy go lucky attitude as she literally cleaned up Tom’s mess day after day. However, stocking up on toilet paper, pens, and batteries led to this awesome Duracell ad. So maybe it was all worth it?
Ann throws some shade in her Duracell ad
Ann was an all-star assistant to Tom. The Pump Rules newbie not only did his laundry, but was the mediator between him and Ariana when they lived in the same house together. Ann must have had enough of washing Tom’s dirty socks, so she wanted to upgrade when there was an opening to be Ariana’s assistant.
Tom turned down his white noise machine just in enough to hear her discussion with Ariana. It was awkward, to say the least. Ann came to Ariana and Katie Maloney ready to work, so the two gave her a job at their sandwich shop, Something About Her.
When Ann isn’t busy running the show at the sandwich shop, she’s starring in TV ads. The marketing team at Duracell batteries knew a star when they saw one, and put Ann in a hilarious campaign with some shady one liners.
In the Duracell ad, Ann is holding a box of batteries and said, “You may know me from my old job. But I just made a premium upgrade.” Then a man holds up a karaoke machine towards her. To which Ann replied, “Yeah … we’re not gonna need that.” Nice dig at Tom Sandoval And The Most Extras.
She then stated, “I buy my own batteries. And by the way, I always bought the batteries. And I can tell you all about them. Because I didn’t sign an NDA.” Tom had tried to out Ariana for not stocking up on office supplies, but it was really Ann all along. Too bad Tom supposedly had Ann sign an NDA.
Ann then hopped into a car and went Ariana’s new home. Ariana smiled and said, “Oh great, you bought batteries … again.” Ann said, “Of course. You gotta stock up your dream home.” Ann and Ariana were definitely a power house duo in the ad. And I for one am looking forward to the next one.
