Craig Conover Details ‘True’ Investment in Alcohol Brand That Rivals Kyle Cooke’s Loverboy

It’s the industry that some Bravolebrities are seeking out to expand their portfolios. Kyle Cooke, naturally, leads the pack for starting up his own company and taking on the risks involved.

The lads on Southern Charm have made their own investments in alcoholic products. Austen Kroll has a beer company called Trophop. And Craig Conover is expanding his empire with a surprise investment in a line that rivals fellow Bravolebrity, Kyle’s Loverboy. Here’s what he had to say about the matter.

Craig called the decision an “easy sell”

Craig exclusively told Page Six that he was “always” interested in investing in an alcoholic brand. Spritz Society won the Southern Charm’s star favor as a “true” product to back.

“[Spritz Society] is wine-based and they’re great and they’re just so fun right now. It’s a fun summer drink,” Craig explained.

The Sewing Down South founder became acquainted with the sparkling wine brand at a Taylor Swift concert with Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo. Craig labeled Spritz Society “really good,” and as it turns out, the brand was co-founded by podcasters Claudia Oshry and Ben Soffer. Both are friends with the Bravolebrity.

“So when [the opportunity] presented itself, I’m just such an easy sell. I’m just such a yes man,” he said.

“I’m excited! Part of my investment came with designing my own flavor, I will have my own can,” the Pillows and Beer podcast host revealed.

The alcohol industry is “extreme,” according to the Southern Charm star

“Obviously I’ve always had respect for Austen and Kyle and all of them, but being in the liquor business or wine liquor business now, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. This is this is a new territory,’” Craig added.

The Southern Charm star “didn’t understand” the “hustle” that comes with taking on the alcohol business. Craig pointed to Summer House OG Kyle as a prime example of a winner in the industry.

“I understand why he’s had to work so hard, because the grind in the alcohol business is extreme,” he stated.

Craig revealed that he “would have loved to invest” in Loverboy, but decided “that wasn’t an option.” He also “offered to buy into” his buddy Austen’s company, Trophop.

So why did the Bravolebrity decide on the sparkling wine brand?

“I have nothing but respect for those guys and I will always be a Loverboy fan. But guess what? I’m all the way down in Charleston, and I’m on a different show and we’re going to have Spritz down there now,” he explained.

Southern Charm is currently filming Season 10. And Craig has been bringing his best self. His Sewing Down South company is expanding, and he’s got his Charleston home and garden in impeccable condition. All in all, the reality TV star’s life is camera-ready. He spoke about what fans can expect this season.

“If we’re filming, you’ll see the evolution of some people and maybe the difference in that with others. I think everyone is on their own journey, and just because other people do things that you might not understand, that’s OK,” Craig revealed.
