Vanderpump Villa Episode 8 Recap: All the Ladies Love Eric

Welcome back to the Vanderpump Villa, Episode 8 recap. Last time, Hannah threatened to leave after making the new server, Nikki, cry. This week’s episode, “Love, Death, and Beyond,” features Stephen trying to impress while doing Eric’s job. Here’s everything that you need to know about Vanderpump Villa, Episode 8!

Hannah continues to rage

Hannah continued to melt down while her co-stars were trying to sleep. She started grabbing her things to leave as Telly tried to calm her down. Hannah even asked the cameras to leave her alone. Not happening, girl!

Andre and Gabriella were trying to sleep, and Hannah was screaming that they were talking about her with Marciano. Gabriella believes that Hannah should leave if that is what she wants. She likened her to the girl who cried wolf too many times.

Hannah said in confessional that her ex-boyfriend, Marciano, “is a trigger for me.” Then she blamed her outbursts on her past with Marciano. In the staff quarters, she berated Marciano for not defending her, then announced, “Toulouse Princess out!” What?

Caroline revealed that Eric let her sleep in his room because she and Chef Anthony had to start work so early in the morning. Eric was sleeping on the couch, and she climbed over to cuddle with Eric. She is interested in him since she has gotten to know him better.

Then, Eric and Emily sat on a blanket and watched the sunrise. Eric wanted to make it a daily ritual. And he gave Emily…a stick.

Emily confessed that she might have feelings for Eric. “She’s the most capable, prettiest, natural, beautiful girl in this whole chateau,” Eric said in a confessional. Still, Eric planned to keep it professional.

Nikki gives Lisa the tea

Lisa summoned Nikki, the new server, to her office. Nikki immediately shoved Marciano under the bus, explaining that he said that he didn’t want her there. Then she told Lisa that Hannah woke everyone up at 2 a.m. And that Hannah made Nikki cry and that Hannah wanted to go home.

Now Lisa needed to talk to Hannah, and Nikki was grinning from ear to ear. Great job stirring the pot!

Lisa called Hannah into the office. “What time are you leaving?” Lisa asked. Hannah just stared at her. “What?” she asked.

Lisa asked if she packed her bags, and Hannah confirmed that she did. Then she unpacked them. Duh. There was no way that Hannah was exiting the show.

Lisa said that Hannah was in “a rut.” That rut is named Marciano. Then Hannah said if they were discussing “the new girl” she already gave her a chance.

Lisa told her that her trigger was Marciano. It happened before when Hannah didn’t like the way that Priscilla was sitting near him. There will always be women, and the issue was Marciano. Lisa wanted Hannah to be her best self, not “an angry little b*tch.” The Vanderpump Rules star told Hannah that she was watching her. Hannah needs to pull it together, and fast.

Then Lisa went deep. She asked Hannah why she didn’t feel like she was good enough. Hannah started to cry, stating that she was “burned.” Marciano’s behavior caused her to question what was wrong with her. From now on, she plans to think before she lashes out.

Eric digs a new job

The new guest of honor, Michelle, was welcoming her thirties by having a funeral for her twenties. The marquee event is a Gothic Gala.

Then, Lisa told Eric he was not allowed to interact with the guests. In the past, Eric was professional when working for Lisa. But, since he is a skilled handyman, he will be using those talents.

Stephen will be stepping into Eric’s role. Eric is convinced that Stephen can’t do the job as well as he can. Bitter, party of one, please! But when a shirtless Eric was digging a trench, Emily, Nikki, and Hannah were all enjoying the show.

“Oh my gosh, this is so Villa Blanca!” Michelle exclaimed, shouting out Lisa’s former restaurant that was featured on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Stephen checked the guests in and went over the itinerary, which included a Cote d’Azur dinner.

Eric, dressed in a suit, had to unclog a guest’s toilet, which amused Stephen. But Stephen was stressed because he needed to show Lisa that he could be the chateau manager. It is a huge job.

After dinner, the servers joined the guests. After one guest explained that she cried because she lost her luggage, Nikki remarked that she cried during her first night at the chateau. Hannah was shocked by her comments.

Nikki upsets Caroline and Emily

The next morning, Nikki decided to cuddle up with Eric on an outside couch. And touch his abs while they chatted.

Emily and Caroline rode through the backyard on their bikes, coming upon the two staff members. “That sh*t pisses me off,” Emily remarked. She likes Eric, but the fact that he was cuddling with Nikki was odd. It seems like Nikki is all about causing drama.

The luncheon featured rosé pong. And the losers had to jump in the pool with their clothes on. Marciano jumped into the pool with Hannah and the guests, but there was one problem.

Lunch hadn’t been served yet, and all the servers were soaking wet. Stephen wasn’t happy. He expressed his concern to his boss, and Lisa told him to handle the servers. If Stephen can’t pull this off, then he won’t be in charge again.

Afterward, Hannah asked to speak with Nikki. Instead of issuing an apology, she called her out for mentioning how she cried during her first night. Nikki apologized. Then she asked if Hannah took any responsibility for the fight that they had. Hannah gave a half-*ssed apology. Finally, they hugged it out.

The event is a funeral for Michelle’s twenties. This is bizarre. The staff was clad in black. Marciano was rocking “emo hair” and eyeliner.

Since Marciano felt like Nikki didn’t do anything at the first dinner, he made her the lead server. Cue Hannah’s next temper tantrum.

Then, Stephen discovered that the blackberry tequila martinis were made too early. He felt frustrated by the breakdown in communication. Telly and Stephen argued about the drinks.

Then an exhausted Stephen went to his room, followed by Hannah. He was so upset that he vomited. Lisa went into Stephen’s room to check on him. She told him that he “put too much pressure” on himself by second-guessing everything. Ever since he was fired from a job, he has been too hard on himself. Lisa told him that it was fine not to be perfect. Then she thanked Hannah for taking care of Stephen.

At the funeral, Michelle placed items from her twenties in a small black casket. This event was ridiculous. She buried Ramen noodles and old love notes. I am embarrassed for everyone involved.

There’s something about Eric

Emily talked with Eric to see if she was wasting her time. He admitted that he was seeing someone back at home. Odd, because he was single and ready to mingle when he arrived. He talked in circles, so Emily was confused.

After dinner, the guests partied with the staff. Nikki did a body shot off one of the guys and kissed him. Caroline was disgusted by Nikki’s behavior. Later that night, Caroline called Nikki out for behaving unprofessionally with a guest.

The staff gathered around Caroline outside while Nikki listened from a window. Andre pointed out they suggested that she do a body shot. Now Caroline is questioning whether she should leave, all because she’s jealous of Nikki and Eric.

Vanderpump Villa, Episodes 1-7 are available to stream now on Hulu. Episode 8 will be available on Monday, May 6 on Hulu.
