There is some information that is so private it should never leave your home. Everything shouldn’t be repeated publicly. Unfortunately, Tori Spelling never learned that.
Amid her highly publicized divorce from Dean McDermott, the 90210 star launched a podcast called Misspelling. There, she’s been sharing all of the yucky details about the issues in her marriage that led up to their split. It ain’t pretty.
Some of the details Tori has shared add some much-needed color to the story of their divorce. For example, she said there was a “beast-like” fight that was the final straw for both of them. On the other hand, Tori is also creeping into TMI territory. On the podcast, she told a bizarre story about her codependent bathroom habits, and this is something that should have never become public knowledge.
Camaraderie on the commode
According to Tori, her weird bathroom habit has been going on for the last 18 years. She claimed she hasn’t “pooped [or] peed alone” this whole time. Dean used to keep her company, but now that he’s out of the picture, Tori said that her kids have filled in for toilet duty.
“First it was Dean, then it was kids,” Tori admitted before calling out her 7-year-old son.
“Beau still stands there and stares and talks to me, like, while I’m pooping,” she continued. “I think I function better with people.”
Tori and Dean share five kids. In the divorce filing, Tori asked for sole physical custody of their little ones and joint legal custody. She’s not trying to lose her bathroom buddies.
On the podcast, Tori admitted that her behavior is a little bit “codependent.” but it probably isn’t going to change anytime soon. As her divorce plays out, she said people keep telling her to learn how to “be happy alone.” That’s easier said than done.
