Love Is Blind’s Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cortés recently spoke about the attention Season 6 of the Netflix series has been getting online.
The latest batch of episodes, which became available on the streaming giant in early 2024, was one messy ride. If it wasn’t the love triangle between Laura Dadisman, Jeramey Lutinski, and Sarah Ann that kept you coming back for more, then it had to be Clay Gravesande leaving AD Smith at the altar. Right? Or, maybe it was Chelsea Blackwell’s tumultuous engagement to Jimmy Presnell. Whatever the reason, you weren’t alone, and Johnny understands why.
Johnny understands why Travis Kelce has been loving Season 6 of LIB…
In case you missed it, Travis spoke about the explosive last season of Love Is Blind with his brother, Jason Kelce, on their podcast, New Heights. “You gotta watch Love Is Blind, man. It is the worst trash ever. It’s worse than [my show] Catching Kelce,” he said.
“I just want you to watch the one girl [Chelsea] and to just hear her … ‘You think I’m clingy? I’m clingy? Really?’”
Although Chelsea was devastated to hear Travis’ impression of her, Johnny felt it was good for their show. “I think it definitely is really good,” he told Us Weekly.
He continued, explaining how Netflix does a “great job” editing the show to make it bingeworthy. “… it is just, like, an interesting show. It sucks you in, which is really nice.”
Later, Johnny acknowledged Travis’ former dating show, saying he was unfamiliar with the production. “I can’t really compare it too much,” he said. “So, sorry, Travis.”
Jimmy, Chelsea’s ex-finacé, responded to the NFL legends’ comments about his relationship on Instagram, writing, “Ooof.”
