Nia and Danny Booko weren’t here for Jax Taylor’s kid-like joke during the season premiere of The Valley.
In case you missed it, the first episode of the new Vanderpump Rules spin-off showed Jax pantsing Danny at an all-cast pool party, ultimately exposing the reality star to everyone in attendance.
After that moment, Jax ran away with a smirk while Nia and Danny stood there shocked. Later, the former Miss USA began crying while explaining the situation to her co-stars. However, there’s one she felt kept making excuses. Keep reading to find out.
Nia calls Brittany out for covering for Jax…
When Brittany noticed Nia getting emotional over Jax’s prank, she quickly comforted the new mother of two. “Honey, I’m so so, sorry — that’s the last thing I would ever want to happen to you is for you to get upset at the party,” Brittany said. “That’s the last thing I would want.”
“I don’t even think that Jax even was gonna realize it was gonna be like [that],” she continued, causing Nia even more frustration.
“I love Brittany, but she was also just making all the excuses,” Nia told her husband, Danny, later. “Like why?” she asked.
Eventually, Nia shared that the birth of her twin daughters could’ve impacted her reaction to Jax’s behavior. “I don’t know exactly how to label it per se, but all the heavy, like hormones and emotions that I’ve been feeling, it’s been a lot,” she said in her confessional. “There’s some days where I’m like is this my new normal? Sometimes in the moment it doesn’t feel like it’s going to get better.”
As the second episode of the season was coming to an end, Brittany and Nia talked out their issues. Although the latter still thought Jax’s joke was “so frustrating,” describing it as “emotional to think about,” she admitted to “feeling better now.”
Brittany, once again, defended her husband, adding he was deeply saddened to see Nia upset. “Jax is so, like, the last thing he would ever want to do is make you sad. Like, his heart was broken when he saw you crying,” she said. “I’ve apologized, he’s apologized, you know I didn’t do nothing, but still.”
The Valley continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
