Why can’t we all just get along? On Season 7 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, all nine castmates are coming together for the first time in series history. Naturally, that has set the stage for some chaotic drama, and the last few episodes showed an all-out war between Angelina Pivarnick and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.
In one corner, you have Angelina who feels like she’s solely responsible for bringing Sammi back to reality TV. In the other corner, you have Sammi, who has vowed not to “bow down” to Angelina. Of course, neither of these ladies is backing down, and in Season 7, Episode 6, we saw the two go head to head.
Sammi isn’t backing down
While Angelina blames their tension on Sammi not being grateful enough, Sammi theorizes that it all comes back to jealousy. She believes Angelina is frustrated that her return to Jersey Shore overshadowed Angelina’s entire seven-season run on Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
“Stop talking about me! I have been nice to you from day one when nobody gave a f–k about you, you had problems with everybody!” Sam yelled at Angelina, who blamed her bad behavior on being drunk.
“You’re actually jealous that I am back,” Sammi continued.
Angelina retorted by saying that she doesn’t think Sammi “appreciates” her enough. She also tried to garner sympathy for the fact that she was going through an emotional time in her life. On the show, she met her biological family for the first time and it’s been a whole saga. Sammi wasn’t buying it.
“This girl wants me up her f–king a–hole! You want me to bow down? You’re like jealous. You’re not getting the shine anymore and I think that’s sad,” Sammi exclaimed. “I feel like you will constantly talk about me. I’ve been nothing but a friend to you.”
Running low on allies
Unfortunately for Angelina, it seems like most of the Jersey Shore crew were on Sammi’s side in this fight. It’s like Season 2 of Jersey Shore all over again where everyone seems exhausted with Angelina’s drama. For example, when Sammi vented about the drama to Jenni “JWoww” Farley, she said that there’s a pattern to Angelina’s behavior.
JWoww said, “You coming back is a f–king high for her and now she’s like, ‘Wait a minute, this is now Sam’s moment, this is supposed to be my moment, I brought her back.'”
Ultimately, Angelina and Sammi didn’t resolve their issues by the end of the episode. Jersey Shore Family Vacation usually has upwards of thirty episodes per season, so there’s plenty of time for them to resolve this conflict. Perhaps they just need an unbiased mediator.
