A Breakdown of the Intense Super Tease Trailer for The Valley

I was not at all thrilled with the idea of having Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright back on the small screen, but my views have changed. With Vanderpump Rules Season 11 being so boring, I kind of need a bit more, so I’m hoping The Valley will be able to provide that. The OG couple and Kristen Doute haven’t been actively on Bravo for some time, but would could possibly be going on in their lives that made them worthy of a spinoff? We are about to find out, thanks to the super tease that just dropped. Here’s a breakdown of the latest trailer for The Valley.

Adulting in The Valley

There is no denying that adulting is hard for pretty much everyone. But I think the trailer of The Valley said it best when it noted that Los Angeles is where the young kids go to parties, and The Valley is where those former young kids go to retire, i.e., have families and get married.

The trailer showed the newest Bravolebs hard at work as they raised their young children. Between preparing for birthing classes, mowing the lawn, and making sure there was a hot dinner every night, I pretty much think They Valley might be the best contraception out there right now.

Tom Schwartz Predicts The Future for Jax and Brittany

In the new teaser trailer, Jax opened up about his current place in life, telling Tom Schwartz that he was in a phase where he could sit back and relax and enjoy fatherhood because he had financial security, notin, “I have a beautiful son. I got a beautiful bar. I got money in the bank.”

It seems Jax’s pockets got deeper after he opened up Jax’s Studio City, a sports bar he co-owns with his wife. Tom was at his friend’s side to help him celebrate the big achievement. But the TomTom owner came with a pretty direct message telling the former villain, “It’s only a matter of time before you’re gonna be living with me. Divorced and miserable.”

Just last week, news broke that Britanny had moved into her own home for a trial separation. The mother of one claimed it was for her mental health. When Jax was cornered by the paparazzi, he doubled down, saying she hadn’t moved and the two were doing just fine. But could it be that Tom had a magical crystal ball to see into the future? Or he probably just knows how stressful owning a bar can be on a marriage.

Brittany Has Baby Fever

The Kentucky native is all about having another baby, but Jax isn’t too keen on giving Cruz a sibling. During a serious conversation Brittany becomes visibly upset as she brings up the prospect of another kid to Jax.

The Florida native tells his wife, “Bringing in another human being, it’s worrisome for me.” Brittany isn’t taking his answer lying down as she claps back, “I live for my kid.” Jax next tells his wife not to cry which obviously only makes her cry that much more.

Brittany and Jax’s Relationship Begins to Break Down

The fact that neither can agree on what to do about having more children isn’t the duo’s only issue. This season on The Valley will undoubtedly show the breakdown of their marriage.

In the trailer, Brittany is caught telling her friend that she doesn’t think Jax is “attracted” to her anymore. If I were Brittany, I’d be worried, too, since Jax was always known to have a wandering eye. It hasn’t helped ease fans’ minds with Katie Maloney noting on Vanderpump Rules that Jax is still known as a man about town.

According to Brittany, she and Jax “don’t have sex ever.” What’s that saying? If he isn’t getting it from you, he is getting it from somewhere else? If I were Brittany, I’d have hired a private investigator at this point just to ease my emotions.

The trailer also mentioned the rumors of Jax cheating on Brittany again. The last time they came up against rumors like this was in 2018, but some would say a leopard never changes its spots. We then see a major fight with Brittany yelling, “You’re my husband, and you’re trying to make me look like I’m a bad person! F*ck you!” To which Jax replies that Brittany has a “problem.” Yikes.

Kristen’s Activated

Kristen is Kristen, and I would expect nothing less. The trailer shows her in a long-winded monologue where she says, “I feel like sometimes I’m the only one who ever has to own my sh*t.” It didn’t go unnoticed that she said this while hugging a mystery man. Now, I doubt that it was Tom Sandoval since she made it clear she was Team Ariana; so who could it be? It also seems that Kristen still isn’t great at being a girls girl since she will get into a few fights with her new co-stars.

The trailer showed her and Michelle Lally arguing over a group dinner. Michelle is heard shouting, “Do you know what you have done to my marriage and my life and my daughter?” Never one to back down, Kristen claps back, yelling, “Your husband said on camera that he’s gonna divorce you.”

Yikes! Kristen’s segment ends with her lamenting, “I didn’t sign up for this all over again just to go through it again! I’d rather be on Vanderpump Rules.”

The Valley premieres Tuesday, March 19 on Bravo.
