Brandi Glanville is no stranger to controversy. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star regularly elicited shock from fans over her behavior during her time on the show. But the recent accusations against her while she filmed Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip surprised even the most loyal of fans.
Rumblings of Brandi’s alleged inappropriate behavior were coming off the set of RHUGT months ago. But in late January, Caroline Manzo filed a legal suit against Bravo over her claims that Brandi sexually harassed her.
Despite how serious the allegations are, Brandi isn’t staying quiet, and has come out swinging. She has denied the allegations and even threatened to sue Bravo herself. Just yesterday, she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share more of her thoughts on the matter.
Brandi says “the truth hurts”
In a tweet that garnered over 96,000 views and counting, Brandi wrote, “It’s been hard & yes, I’ve been conflicted, & it was hard to speak out but a woman can only take being pummeled so much.”
The mother of two then added, “It may be unpopular to speak up against a powerful institution & I may have a wild side, but I am not a liar. The truth hurts. It is hurting me & now hurting Bravo.”
This is the latest in a long string of callouts by Brandi since Caroline’s lawsuit was filed. On February 22, Brandi accused Andy Cohen of sexual harassment and threatened to sue Bravo herself. Andy did issue an apology but claimed Brandi was in one the joke. She has yet to file any legal case against Bravo.
Additionally, just last week, Brandi tweeted another claim. “Luckily, my lawyers and &the FBI guy they hired downloaded everything from my phone for the past 13 years over 6 months ago before everyone started deleting messages,” she wrote.
It seems as though Brandi is not willing to go down without a fight. And that fight clearly includes spilling some ugly tea about Andy and Bravo. The Reality Reckoning everyone is talking about might not want Brandi, but they are stuck with her anyway.
