Someone’s ready to reclaim her mojito! After spending the last few seasons as a “friend of” on Real Housewives of Miami, Marysol Patton wants to step back into the role of a full-time Real Housewife. But are the fans ready for that?
Marysol and her bestie, Alexia Nepola, were recent guests on Two Ts in a Pod with Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp. The four of them were reflecting on Season 6 of RHOM and how the friends have such a big presence. They asked Marysol about her thoughts on not being a full-time Housewife, and she admitted that she was ready for the opportunity. For Marysol, it’s not even about the status. It’s really just about the paycheck.
A mojito plus a paycheck
Ever since the RHOM reboot came to life, Marysol has been redefining what it means to be a “friend of” on The Real Housewives. Both Marysol and Adriana de Moura are OGs to the franchise and have been integral parts of the RHOM reboot despite not having a full-time status. On the podcast, Teddi asked if Marysol would be willing to get promoted to Housewife, and it was a resounding yes.
“I want that Housewife paycheck, so yeah,” Marysol quipped.
In Tamra’s opinion, Marysol should have had a mojito a long time ago. She said that Bravo should “fine tune” the casting for RHOM because it didn’t make sense for Marysol to only have a part-time status on the show.
“We see you with your husband. We see your home life. You should be a Housewife,” Tamra argued.
On RHOM, the friends are included in every aspect of the show except for the opening credits. They go on the cast trips. They get a ton of confessional interviews with multiple looks. During the Season 6 reunion, all of the friends were invited to the couch for the entire reunion. Meanwhile, in other Housewives cities, some of the friends aren’t even invited to the reunion.
It’s no wonder Marysol is ready for the Housewives paycheck. She’s already doing the work of a Housewife. Let’s make it happen, Bravo!
