As Real Housewives of New Jersey fans patiently wait for Season 14, they can’t help but speculate on the state of Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruleas’ marriage.
A good chunk of RHONJ viewers are decidedly not fans of Luis or his romance with Tre. Many consider Luis poison to the rest of the New Jersey cast, especially Teresa. As such, fans have speculated for a long time about whether the relationship between the two would end.
Most recently, alarm bells were going off when Teresa took a vacation in February with Luis nowhere to be found. The speculation became so rampant that the NJ star decided to respond.
Teresa feels bad for the online hate toward Luis
On the February 14 episode of her podcast, Namaste B$tches, Teresa addressed the rumors of an upcoming divorce from Luis. “I was like, are you serious?” she asked. “I know, we are attached at the hip, we really are.”
By the episode’s end, she said in plain terms, “Luis and I are not getting divorced.” As for her recent solo excursion, she said, “And I’m allowed to go on a girls’ trip, he’s allowed to go on his trips … we’re allowed to not be together 24/7.”
On the February 28 episode of her podcast, Teresa further addressed the rumors and the comments made about her and Luis. She felt especially bad for Luis who had never experienced the world of reality TV. “Nobody understands this world until you’re in it,” she explained.
To that point, she added, “And I guess when you’re the top dog, everyone comes for you.” Uh-huh. You keep telling yourself that, Tre. She further offered up advice on how to deal with such comments: “If there’s something you don’t like, you have to delete or block.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to return to Bravo later this year, with past seasons streaming on Peacock.
