The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 was serving up the drama, with one of the most compelling pieces of on-screen tension playing out between Kiki Barth and Lisa Hochstein.
While on the cast trip to Mexico, Lisa attempted to feed some dogs, suggesting the food was better than what the dogs were fed each day. Kiki didn’t appreciate what Lisa was implying, especially since Kiki grew up impoverished.
She slammed Lisa (and to a lesser extent her other castmates) for their privilege. Despite her status as a friend of the cast, Kiki was serving full-time Housewife vibes. Perhaps production felt the same way.
Kiki is “totally open” to holding a mojito
Kiki recently joined Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp on their podcast, Two Ts In A Pod. During the interview, Tamra asked Kiki if she had any regrets this season. “Not at all actually!” Kiki enthusiastically responded. “I’m very happy that I finally stood up for myself.”
She continued, “I learned you have to just speak … your mind, and grow, and tell them how it is, and earn your respect. If I didn’t do that this season, I still would have probably been on mute by now.”
Tamra pointed out that Andy Cohen teased the possibility of Kiki becoming a full-time Housewife. She asked Kiki if she could feel that mojito coming. “If holding a mojito is my next step, I’m totally open to it 100%,” Kiki said. “I have a story to tell. The sooner the better.”
It would be interesting to see what would happen if Kiki did make the jump to full-time. Would one of the current full-time Housewives become a Friend? Would one of them be fired? Or would there simply be seven full-timers? If Kiki does get her mojito, only time will tell.
