In Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, aspiring fashionistas Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby introduced an athleisure line called GnA. Throughout the season, they’ve expressed their desire to revolutionize the world of athleisure by introducing sparkly, sexy workout gear. The reviews are in, and Candiace Dillard Bassett isn’t buying what they’re selling.
On RHOP, Gizelle said the line would be like a cross between Savage x Fenty and Lululemon. So far, the items that are available on their website don’t really live up to that hype. Candiace recently chatted with Page Six about her co-star’s new fashion line, and she had some choice words for the two designers. After this review, Ashley might need to book another appointment with her confidence coach.
Candiace reviews Gizelle and Ashley’s clothing line GnA
According to Candiace, we’re going to see a fashion presentation from GnA later this season. Candiace was in the building, and she teased what we could expect from the clothing line. She said it was “very brave” of the duo to even come out with a clothing line in the first place. It’s safe to say she didn’t mean that in a nice way.
[It’s] imaginatively creative,” Candiace said about the clothing line, with a smirk. “And courageous.”
When talking to the outlet, Candiace kept calling the GnA fashion presentation “very, very creative,” which sounds like a far stretch from the crew socks and white t-shirts currently available on the website. It sounds like GnA might be taking a note from Shereé Whitfield and SHE by Shereé by introducing a clothing line in a fashion show with pieces that will never actually be for sale.
Either way, Candiace’s review has us eager to see what GnA has in store for us. Gizelle and Ashley pledged that they would solve a wide range of problems with their new line. In a confessional interview, Gizelle said she and Ashley were looking to “fix all coochie sweat.” Let’s see if they can stick to that promise.
