Forget the Montauk house share. It’s time for Lindsay Hubbard’s exciting new venture to materialize. The house that Lindsay signed for in Nashville, Tennessee in January 2024 is ready for business. The Summer House star is very proud of the decor, and needless to say, Lindsay gave the place a chic and modern feel. Also needless to say, she’s named the place Hubb House.
Lindsay’s Hubb House rental is “perfect” for a “group of friends”
The house boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms spaced over four stories.
“It’s perfect for a Summer-type group of friends, just without the cameras,” Lindsay told People. “I’m so excited for people to see it.”
It all came together when the Bravolebrity visited Nashville in October, two months after her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke, ended their engagement. The keen marketing professional immediately saw potential.
“I completely fell in love with the city,” she explained. “And when I learned there were big group vacations here every single week — with demographics of people coming, without fail, to celebrate birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, friend trips, family reunions — I saw an opportunity to target this built-in income system for rental properties and build a business.”
Lindsay revealed the hectic manner in which she chose the property that she lovingly renamed Hubb House, after her former PR firm.
“I did BravoCon in Vegas from November third to fifth, then came down to Nashville for the CMA Awards on November 8. And the very next day, I looked at three places and chose one. It was like House Hunters, except I was extremely hungover and running on no sleep. I was like, ‘I’ll take that one!'” Lindsay shared.
How did Lindsay design the space?
It’s like the Summer House space, but with a country twist. Lindsay revealed that Hubb House has a two-car garage, plenty of private spaces to sleep guests, and chic hangout spots. It also boasts views of Nashville, the most stunning being from the roof deck.
“We had a very specific quick turnaround time,” Lindsay said. “And thank goodness for Somerled Designs, because I definitely couldn’t have done it without them.”
“Not only did they have such great ideas and create such great spaces, but they were so organized, stuck to the timeline, and really kept the project on track to make sure we reached that goal. With my background in PR, I’m naturally a very organized, deadline-driven person, and they had that exact energy. It was a great working match,” the reality TV star gushed.
The most surprising aspect is a confessional room. It seems that the Summer House crew could make themselves at home there.
“I mean, how awesome is that?” Lindsay said. “I don’t know any other rental property that has a confessional room, where these groups of people and guests can come home from a night out on Broadway and talk about their feelings and emotions and drama that happened that night. Like, “Oh, Susie met a guy and went home with him. Hopefully we’ll see her in the morning,’ or whatever the case is. Trust me, I’ve done my fair share of those — they’re a blast.”
How does this new venture fit into Lindsay’s evolution?
“In my early 20s, it was [to] graduate from college and move to New York and start my career in PR. Then, it was like, climb that ladder and work as hard as you can, get all the knowledge and experience you can in the field of PR,” Lindsay said of her goals.
“Then, my early 30s, it was like, OK, start my own PR firm and then keep it afloat and make it successful in the hardest city that there is to possibly ever own a business in. And have clients and make a name for myself and make money and learn the business side of things. By my mid-30s, I was like, ‘OK, well, then my version of success is like now. I’m ready to think about my actual future and settling down.’ And that famous line — ‘Engagement, marriage, babies!’ or whatever I said.”
The Bravolebrity had to shift her focus, in the wake of the shock split from Carl. Indeed, she’s looking to further her career and financial position.
She said, “My individual financial success is what I deem as success right now. I always feel stronger when I’m on my own two feet, and I’m not having to think about picking someone else up.”
Maybe Nashville is Lindsay’s next chapter? She certainly has a large group of friends in the area, and loves the city.
“I love it here,” she said. “It’s a great, great city and I have a lot of friends who are here. You know, it was always very hard for me to answer questions like, ‘Would you ever move out of New York? Where would you go?’ But Nashville is now my answer.”
“What can I say — Nashville looks good on me,” Lindsay teased.
