Heidi Montag grew up on reality TV. Between her starring on The Hills, where she met her husband, Spencer Pratt, and their return as parents on The Hills: New Beginnings, this girl knows how to work the industry and put herself out there.
Spencer and Heidi certainly court the attention. They’ve done countless interviews over the years and are always hustling. Heidi certainly hasn’t given up on her music career. And Spencer is still selling Pratt Daddy crystals.
They are parents to Gunner Stone, 6, and welcomed second son Ryker, in November of 2022. Fans want to know whether the hustle will include the next generation. Will Spencer and Heidi allow their kids on reality TV?
Heidi acknowledged that fans “don’t really like watching other people’s kids”
During a recent episode of the Between Us Moms podcast, Heidi revealed that she indeed would be willing to put the whole family on reality TV. In the right circumstances, of course. In her words, the kids would engage “in a smaller capacity.”
“I think people don’t really like watching other people’s kids. I find that I like watching other people’s kids, but I don’t love it … I’m like, ‘I have enough of my own kid life,’ ” The Hills alum explained.
“So I like an insight of it as an element of it, but when it’s a whole focus, I think that I lose a lot of my audience,” she added. “And same with the show, I think they would be in a small capacity of it.”
Heidi admitted that she and Spencer are constantly in hustle mode. Namely, they are “always in talks and in the works with some kind of deal here or there.” But her current focus is revitalizing her music career.
“My music is really taking off and I think that’s an interesting angle. It would have to be funny because, at the end of the day, Spencer and I are dynamic, and our family is funny. It’s not really dramatic so it would definitely play into more of like a silly show,” The Hills: New Beginnings star added.
But including her kids in a program would be less like their participation on The Hills. Rather a show “more relevant to them” would be their “own show” centered around their family.
“But that would definitely be a conversation like ‘Yeah, mom and dad made a lot of money and we were silly!'” Heidi joked.
