Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Are ‘Together, but Not Together’

The relationship between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky appears to be ever-evolving. The many headlines on the marriage would suggest new updates constantly.

But simultaneously and paradoxically, the relationship between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars seems stagnant. The two have been in a strange state of separation for months now. Fans hoped that RHOBH Season 13 might provide some insight into what exactly happened.

Unfortunately, answers have felt sparse. Kyle did tease a twist at the end of the reunion, which may provide something to viewers, but until then, we’re in the dark. With just a few episodes left in Season 13, what are Kyle’s current thoughts on the relationship?

Kyle and Mauricio are doing “pretty good, considering”

Kyle spoke with Extra at the People’s Choice Awards. When asked about her relationship with Mauricio, she said, “We are doing okay. We’re actually pretty good, considering. We’re very good friends. We always were, even as a married couple. We live in the same house, we are family – we’re doing good, considering.”

She added, “I never thought we would be in [this] situation.” As far as what that meant, she explained, “To be getting along like this, having dinner … together, but not together.” Despite the difficulties, the bright spot came from having familial support. “It means the world to me … knowing that I have their support no matter what.”

Moreover, if any other good came from the situation, it would be that Kyle’s circumstances and Season 13 could resonate with some fans. “We’ve been very real and opened our lives all these years,” Kyle said. “People are really invested … There’s a connection there.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 finale airs this Wednesday, February 21 at 8/7c on Bravo.
