If there is one thing I can’t do, it is trying to keep up with Larsa Pippen‘s dramatic love life. Honestly, everything about the Real Housewives of Miami star is exhausting. At the beginning of the week, Larsa and Marcus Jordan confirmed their split after a year of dating, but the math isn’t mathing when it comes to this breakup. So let me break out my trusty magnifying glass and search for clues in the Mystery of Miami Heat Extinguished.
For the most part, fans have felt that Larsa has been pretty open about her love life, including her divorce and May/December relationship. In the Miami series, Larsa comes across as pretty collected with her thoughts, often trying to support Lisa Hochstein through her messy divorce. I dare say I like Larsa on RHOM. What I don’t like is a plotting Larsa, who is trying to figure out how to keep her relationship relevant. Personally, I don’t see Larsa and Marcus lasting; love doesn’t always win.
Marcus and Larsa Are Back on IG
For some reason, the first thing any couple does when they are at the end of their relationship is unfriend one another on social media. And just like clockwork, this is exactly what Larsa and Marcus did. Conventionally, their unfriending occurred during the Super Bowl, which I can only assume was a strategic move that would go unnoticed. But it feels like the couple is playing a game of checkers rather than chess.
On Valentine’s Day (another popular day), the two seemed to have befriended one another again. The whiplash from these two is going to cause me a very high chiropractic bill this month. And the only thing running across my mind is that the massive unfriending didn’t get the attention Larsa thought it would. I find it very childish that a 49-year-old is playing high school games. Between the follow, unfollow, and cryptic stories, enough is enough. Are you in love or not!?
Larsa and Marcus Were Spotted Together
I keep singing “Don’t be suspicious. Don’t be suspicious” in my head. But let me tell you guys, I am very sus about this soft launch of a break up. I mean, the duo was spotted out on V-Day by TMZ shopping for flowers. I can only hope no one is really falling for this false breakup. Evidently, when you’re going through a rough patch with your significant other, all you need to do is go to Trias Flowers & Gifts in Miami and buy two dozen roses.
Marcus and Larsa were also snapped going back to her Miami bachelorette pad, so whatever small break they were taking, it seems to be its journey’s end.
Larsa’s Actions Aren’t Matching
Larsa is what I like to call a chameleon; you’re never going to know the real Larsa Pippen. She was a dutiful housewife with her original face when she married Scottie Pippen. Then, she morphed into a mini Kardashian when she befriended their family. And now she is trying to recapture her youth as the girlfriend of another basketball star. Frankly, she is the Madonna of the Real Housewives. When she first started dating Marcus, the mother of three gushed about how much sex they were having. They apparently couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
Marcus has been filmed on the Real Housewives of Miami, and the couple even appeared on The Traitors together. Yet, in the blink of an eye, the next we hear is that they have broken up. Is this girl math? Is this how that works? Let’s not forget Larsa also posted an Instagram Story that encouraged her followers to find a “wise man,” insinuating Marcus was what? A dud? Frankly, If they both agreed to this for publicity, then they’re truly made for each other.
I feel as if Larsa is in her own little dream world when it comes to her relationship with Marcus. For one, I don’t think she sees herself as almost 50, especially when talking about having more children as if it would be as easy as snapping her fingers. Even though breakups aren’t usually linear the first time they happen in the Bravosphere, I will say this one feels planned. And I am not a fan of that kind of move.
