During Season 15 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé Whitfield was bragging about her questionable relationship with Martell Holt. Meanwhile, he was over on Love and Marriage: Huntsville wreaking havoc.
Since Season 15 of RHOA wrapped, Shereé and Martell called it quits. She confirmed the news during the reunion. Now that some time has passed, it sounds like Shereé is officially over him, and she’s throwing a bit of shade at her former beau. In an interview with Page Six, she got real about what was missing in her last relationship and what the next guy would need to do to win her heart.
She’s so over him
When talking to the outlet, Shereé proudly proclaimed to be a “single woman” and said that she was ready to date again after her breakup with Martell. She said she spent some time focusing on herself, and of course, competing on Season 2 of The Traitors. Now, it’s time to find someone who’s the total opposite of Martell.
“Since I’ve been single, I have been working on myself a lot. I would like my partner to be serious and add value to my life in all aspects,” Shereé shared.
“This time around, I am looking for someone who is emotionally available and supportive,” she continued. “I am looking for the qualities that my past relationships did not have.”
Of course, Martell is infamous for cheating on his wife of 13 years. He and Shereé started dating shortly after he got divorced. That doesn’t necessarily scream “emotionally available.”
Before Martell, Shereé dated Tyrone Gilliams. When we first learned about him, he was behind bars. He finally got out of jail and humiliated Sheree on TV by ghosting her. So, it sounds like Shereé might have learned from her past mistakes, and she’s ready to get serious with her next romance. We’re rooting for her.
