Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump tried to support both Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval in the wake of his cheating scandal. During the Season 10 finale, Lisa had some blowback for being too kind to Sandoval. He was falling apart in front of her, so, of course, she comforted him. And Scheana Shay has some thoughts about Lisa playing favorites.
“I didn’t take sides with Tom. I definitely condemned what he did. You know, I can’t write him off as a person because he had an affair,” Lisa said. “The way he handled it, yes, of course.”
Scheana thinks Lisa Vanderpump favors Sandoval
When Scheana was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen grilled her all about the fallout from Scandoval. That sounds fun! Andy asked Scheana if Lisa had a “softer spot” for Sandoval or Ariana.
“Sandoval,” Scheana said. “You will see it this season.” Well, that surprises me. Of course, Sandoval is a part owner of TomTom along with Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, and Tom Schwartz. But I always thought that she was fully supporting Ariana.
Lisa did show Ariana some public love when she attended the Season 32 finale of Dancing with the Stars. After Ariana and Pasha Pashkov’s amazing run on the show, they finished in third place. But Lisa was so proud of Ariana. “I never knew she was capable of anything so magnificent. I’ve watched every week and it’s brought tears to my eyes,” Lisa told DWTS host Alfonso Ribeiro.
Siding with Ariana or Sandoval seems like a challenge. Even Scheana, who cut ties with Sandoval during the Season 10 VPR finale, has questioned her decision. The singer received criticism for hanging out with Sandoval. Still, to have a show, someone other than Schwartz and Lisa has to film with him, right?
