The storylines on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 are nearing their finish lines. Overall, it’s been an…interesting season. Gone was Lisa Rinna, the resident, always dancing the same hip-popping moves over on Instagram, pot stirrer. In was nurse anesthetist Annemarie Wiley who joined RHOBH and doled out unsolicited medical advice while quipping about her “single” and therefore “lonely” castmates.
Needless to say, Annemarie’s presence saw a lot of hate directed her way. On the flip side, Crystal Kung Minkoff finally found her voice. She’s now on the receiving end of a lot of praise. Mostly because her frustrations were launched directly at Annemarie, with a side of shade also aimed at Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley.
The tables are turning for the Fox Force Five. We’re here for it. Currently, only a handful of episodes remain on Bravo. Therefore, the ladies just filmed for their reunion, and even though there’s no going back now, these are the topics that we hope Andy Cohen fully addresses because, in these RHOBH storylines, we have some big thoughts.
Dorit’s Micro-Aggressions
Sutton Stracke kissed her driver, which, yasss girl. Yet, when Dorit learned about this, she brought it back up in front of several others. This bothered Sutton. So, Garcelle Beauvais chimed in, calmly explaining to Dorit that she had embarrassed her friend.
Dorit then turned to Garcelle, accusing her costar of “attacking” her. Thankfully, Dorit was the only one confused about why this word was triggering when aimed at a person of color. Kyle’s eyebrows rose, and Erika Jayne even spoke up. “The word of attack has a different meaning when it comes from a white woman to a Black woman,” Erika informed Dorit.
Sadly, Dorito still didn’t grasp this concept, and we weren’t surprised. Remember when she called her Chinese-American co-star, Crystal, a child bride, or when she tried to shut down racist accusations by saying, “We’ve had a lot of people that have worked for us who are very multicultural?”
Then, in her confessional, Dorit expressed, “All she needs to say is, Dorit, you know what, that word really triggers me.” Girl. That’s exactly what Garcelle said, you just chose to fight first and listen never. Hear us out, Dorit; perspectives from all walks of life need to be shared and respected, as that’s the only way that we as a society can move forward.
Honestly, there have been a lot of performative stances against racism from various Real Housewives. Yet, implicit bias still exists, as Dorit’s constant displays of ignorance have proven. Unfortunately, the reunions have also seen certain storylines with racist undertones, or even housewives of color addressing the biases that they’ve felt, being glossed over. Therefore, we hope that Andy fully supports Crystal and Garcelle this time at the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, giving these ladies a proper platform to verbally address Dorit.
Literally, Everything Involving Denise
Denise Richards messily returned this season, gunning for Erika. Basically, Denise is still mad at Erika over Season 10 narratives. However, Erika hit back, citing Denise’s daughter’s OnlyFans account, while Denise returned the serve, discussing Erika’s husband’s lawsuits. It was messy.
Afterward, Denise blamed the chefs at Kyle’s weed-infused dinner for her behaviors, who then clapped back with a ‘not today, Denise,’ type of response. That said, we still have a few additional questions regarding Denise’s screen time.
Did Kyle invite Denise to this dinner simply to serve as a distraction, knowing that her return might see the ladies questioning her issues less? Is Denise ok? Has anyone spoken to Denise since these episodes aired? Even though Denise is unlikely to attend the Season 13 reunion, we still hope that these things are addressed.
Annemarie’s Petty Statements, and Her Husband
I’m so ready to “let the esophagus go.” Annemarie should have never used her medical background to question Sutton’s narrowing esophagus. It was gross, and we loved that both Sutton and Crystal went all in, calling out Annemarie’s unsolicited advice and lies. At the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, we hope that these two maintain this same level of fire because Annemarie has some explaining to do.
We’d also like to hear Annemarie speak on the accusations involving her husband, Marcellus Wiley, who was accused of allegedly raping a fellow Columbia student back in 1994. Legally speaking, she likely won’t comment much. But we still would like for her to at least “talk about the husband” briefly at the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.
Kyle and Morgan, What’s Up?
Mauricio Umansky and Kyle have separated. Enter Morgan Wade, who has developed a close friendship with Kyle. Yet, many people have speculated that these ladies are, or were, actually dating, which Kyle has denied despite their apparent chemistry. So, what’s the deal?
Whatever their current situation is, we are hoping that Kyle either delivers us all a hard yes or a hell no on this rumor during the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.
Erika’s Feelings on Tom’s Upcoming Trial
When Erika separated from her now-estranged lawyer husband, Tom Girardi, zero leniency was offered. This is because Tom was accused of misappropriating his clients’ funds. Erika took many verbal beatings, even though she claimed her innocence multiple times.
Due to her time spent in the hot seat, Erika hopes that Andy will now question Kyle just as hard as she was once grilled. That said, Erika might still be addressing her former marital woes at the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, as Tom’s trial is looming, and now, we all want to know, will Erika be in attendance at the courthouse?
