Kim Zolciak appears to think her divorce from Kroy Biermann has gotten a little too public, and now she’s taking legal action in the form of a confidentiality order. Hopefully, it didn’t take a lawyer for Kim to realize how information in her divorce was being handled.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars have been running a circus throughout their divorce. That may sound rude, but the two clearly just don’t know how to keep a lid on things.
Initially, the two seemed to be taking public shots at one another with custody in mind. Each one was trying to paint the other out to be an unfit parent. Since then, the many attacks and added news felt like spite. Well, it would seem Kim has had enough of seeing herself in the news.
Kroy is allegedly not on board with Kim’s confidentiality order
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kim has asked the court to issue her a protective order. The order would allow her to redact sensitive information surrounding her in the documents she’s forced to hand over to Kroy. Kim could remove or censor names and financial information from discovery documents if the order passed.
The documents reportedly argue that the public interest in the case is cause for privacy concerns, noting the amount of press coverage the divorce has received thus far. Kim allegedly claimed that embarrassing information about her and Kroy had already been leaked. She further argued that sensitive information had already been revealed against her wishes.
The documents also claim that Kim has tried to get Kroy to agree with her on the terms of the confidentiality order. She alleged that Kroy rejected her proposed order, which led her to believe that Kroy was purposefully leaking information to the media. Now, Kim is simply waiting for a judge to rule – as is the public.
