Details Surrounding Brandi Glanville’s Alleged Sexual Harassment of Caroline Manzo Released

Okay, so we’re going to discuss the incredibly heavy information surrounding the Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo mess. If you are sensitive to specifics regarding alleged sexual assault, this is NOT the article for you. For real, don’t read this and have someone summarize it for you.

For the rest of us, take a deep breath and prepare yourself to read some very unsavory court docs about what ALLEGEDLY happened during production of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco. This is not for fun and this is not for snark, this is actually quite disturbing. USA Today has the details.

Bravo must have “some” footage – allegedly

Out of the gate, you need to know Brandi is denying all allegations of wrongdoing. Second, Caroline is not suing Brandi. She’s going after the money and hitting Bravo, Forest Productions Inc., Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., NBCUniversal Media, Shed Media, and Peacock TV.

At the beginning of 2023, we started hearing about Brandi allegedly touching Caroline without consent. Reports centered around an incident occurring behind a locked bathroom door that wasn’t filmed. There was audio and witnesses were in the room. Per the court papers, there was more than one occasion Brandi ALLEGEDLY took it too far with Caroline and … it was filmed. Allegedly.

Caroline’s official complaint is Brandi being hired for the cast despite “overwhelming prior notice of Ms. Glanville’s prior deviant sexual proclivities and sexually harassing conduct.”

The attorney leading Caroline’s case said, “We believe this case is about the networks selfishly sacrificing the wellbeing of their talent for ratings and profit. Brandi Glanville stated she was simply doing what the producers told her to do.”

He added, “Reality TV is leading to severe emotional and physical harm of its talent. This must stop. We are outraged by Bravo, Peacock, and NBC’s conduct and look forward to having the issues decided by a jury. Sexual harassment should never be entertainment!”

The details

The complaint implies Brandi kissed Caroline several times with no consent making Caroline “uncomfortable” in the process. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum said after the first kissing incident, Brandi mounted her on a couch and “held her body down” before forcibly kissing and humping her. All of these details are alleged.

Additionally, the suit advises Caroline was traumatized at 7-years-old after being sexually assaulted. This situation “made all of these dormant and horrific memories immediately resurface.”

Further, ”Manzo again felt like she was seven years old and began to relive her previous sexual assaults in the context of this sexual assault. She was in a state of shock.” And the kicker is cameras apparently kept filming. “Defendants continued filming Plaintiff throughout even though she [Caroline] was in distress from the sexual assaults.”

This is where I remind you the “bathroom incident” is separate …

Remember, when reports first came out there was drama on the RHUGT set, it was after a bathroom incident. Brandi allegedly took Caroline behind a locked bathroom door during a party, with witnesses, and the network has audio but no video. These are separate incidents.

The suit also explains Caroline spoke with producers after the alleged assaults. She obtained “help” to ease “emotional distress” from Alex McCord, who is now a licensed psychologist. The legal docs advise the network put filming over Caroline’s safety.

“Despite the fact that Manzo was so emotionally distraught and despite the fact that Manzo asked not to be around Granville, Defendants still wanted Manzo to meet with Granville. Defendants were more focused on the continuation of the show rather than the health and well-being of Manzo after she was sexually abused.”

In conclusion, it is highly unlikely RHUGT Morocco will be released for viewing.
