Monica Garcia Feels ‘Misunderstood’ by RHOSLC Cast

Part three of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion was one for the ages. The reveal that newbie Monica Garcia was allegedly behind the Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease shook the Bravo world to it’s core. And will go down in history as possibly one of the greatest betrayals across all franchises.

But when it came time for Monica to share her side of the story, she was mostly unapologetic. And last night, she told host Andy Cohen that this whole thing is simply “misunderstood.”

While the previous two parts of the RHOSLC reunion covered the allegations of Monica’s role in Reality Von Tease, part three really dug in. Monica remained defiant as she told Andy, “I did not set up the account, I didn’t name the account, or open the account.”

The Real Housewives newcomer also stuck to the story that she was one of six people who contributed to the account and what was posted. She told the cast that she was simply “part of that page.” Monica added, “I honestly feel like that page did not come for any of [the cast].”

When Andy gave Monica one more chance to talk about the scandal, Monica replied, “I mean, I think there’s a ton that’s been misunderstood.” Andy asked again if there was anything she would like to say, which was met with Monica’s staunch, “No.”

Monica on Reality Von Tease and the rest of the RHOSLC cast: “We did post nice things”

Despite the blatantly negative nature of Reality Von Tease, Monica did insist earlier in the show that the account also included “positive things about the women.” She stated, “We did try and support them; We did post nice things.” Screenshots proved that to be the case.

Ultimately, Monica finally conceded that she did “genuinely feel bad” about her part in Reality Von Tease.

Monica has been accused of being the worst kind of clout chaser. One that would plot and plan and conspire to get her 15 minutes of reality TV fame. One looming question remains: was it worth it?
